I was sceptical about the sound quality as it is in the handset. I purchased it, however, as I was able to hide the unit behind the dash. The audio is very good and clear. I have also installed a GME magnetic microphone holder for the handset which is very convenient. I would definitely recommend.
Easy to use and good quality CB Radio in Australia
I have had three TX3350 in my 4wds and my mate got GME as well. So far, compare to iCom, this is the best value for money CB I have say. Easy to operate and quality is good. Never had any issues with it. Prefer to purchase online which is much cheaper.
Excellent compact UHF for 4x4 or camping
I've long been skeptical about the merits of compact UHF units, and tended to just purchase full-size DIN cheaper radios to fit my vehicles as needed. Recently I needed to fit a UHF to our 150 series Toyota Prado, and looked at the options to hide the head unit behind the dash as I didn't want to clutter up the dash. My main skepticism for hiding the head unit behind the dash was that sound quality would be affected and I didn't want to mount a remote speaker, but the GME TX3350 has been a great compromise as there is a speaker mounted on the m...ic and this allows wonderfully clear sound without it being muffled by the dash. Very impressed with the features and sound quality of this unit. Purchased as part of a value pack that came with an aerial mount, spring base, a long and rubber ducky aerial and bullbar & Z mounts. Excellent value at $335 delivered, purchased through Ebay. EDIT: after about 12 months of use, this has proven to be a great UHF. I use cheaper units in work vehicles and this sound quality on this continues to impress, as does ease of use. No issues with build quality.

Questions & Answers
My TX3350 hand set will not turn on properly. The volume goes up & down, but no sound. no other buttons work. No beep when press & hold menu. When I try to turn the TX3350 on V 1.00 is the only thing that shows on the screen. There's no protective plastic. It was working ok last week, any help?
Mine is doing the same but I’ve just noticed my auxiliary battery has died (~7V instead of 12V) so hoping that’s the cause.
