Great piece of kit – I have used Oricom products in the past and never had any issues, with products performing as expected. Keep it simple stupid – I received my order within a week so a good start. The installation was straight forward and required very basic mechanical aptitude and some bits and pieces ie antenna mount and some connectors for battery terminals. All in all very pleased with the radio, the transmission and receiver do the job they are supposed to and it does the job it’s intended for. Definitely does the job – The radio purchased was fitted into a fire fighting truck. Used the following night and nights and days after. Clear reception in extreme conditions of heavy smoke and distances for communication on the fire ground.. Excellent product Show details

Price pont winner – Good entry level unit to get you up and running. The bundle deal is unbeatable value. I have noticed some noise likely generated by the vehicle when it is running coming through the speaker, has no effect on the performance of the unit. At this price point shielding to deal with in vehicle electrical interference is probably asking for a bit too much. Very happy with mine. Show details

Good quality, great value – Great value, good quality UHF. I recommend buying for the likes of towing, touring and dunes but the antenna does not have a spring base so that should be kept in mind for going bush bashing as it won't spring back like most antennas when hit by branches and scrub. Show details ·  1

Very affordable – Easy to install product at a good price. Seems to work fine. Only drawback is speaker not great - but it has auxiliary port for installing an external speaker, which I might do at some stage. Show details ·  1

Cheap, not overly impressed was cheap but expect more as was still close to $200 – Radio installed straight off the starter battery, turns on and off over corrugations, occasionally turns it’sself off then comes back on again some how. Overall disappointed but should have knowfortheprice. Show details

Excellent radio – Its small enough to mount onto the side of my console without being in the way. The signal is strong and clear with is recommend aerial. 80 channels, but no sub channels. Basic and easy to use. It has a search for active channels. Show details ·  1

Snazy little unit – Good & easy uhf to use ,receives clear sometimes as u get up in the hills it fades away,but if you get a bigger receiving anteena it would work fine,its worth the money and comes with a hand held easyier when communicating when reverseing the van :) Show details ·  1
