TX 4500 Lemon – Microphone Cable is to short for in car use. Also set its far to expensive for what it is. No Base Microphone available. Screen is not bright enough for Day time use. Reprint the Instruction Manual they printed it with a big hicke on the figure 0 on the dispay screen on the front page (poor printing,

Excellent UHF radio – I have had many UHF radios in my time but the Tx4500 is a fantastic unit largely due to being very user freindly, good sized colored LCD screen that can be changed to about 10 different colors. This available function enables the radio to be matched to your existing dash lighting. The forward facing speaker makes hearing conversations nice and clear, without constatly asking other callers to constantly repeat their message.

After just experiencing another brand of radio that failed miserably, I can recommend the Tx4500 as being a great UHF radio. Put simply - fantastic product. Slightly expensive.
