Highly Recommend – We moved from Sydney to Gold Coast with Gold Coast Removals - from start to finish they were excellent. Their quote was very competitive, their communication was excellent, and the guys that turned up worked so hard to move us. It was pouring on the day we moved out (and the day we moved in) and not once did they complain despite stairs, heavy objects and intense rain. Not a single problem. Im so grateful to them and 100% recommend this company.

P K Removalists – Wouldn't recommend them. Worst experience ever. Removalists took fridge door off after I told them not to as it is a fridge with a lot of electricals for temperature etc and the filtered water goes through the fridge door. straight away. The job did take a little longer but not because of the boys it was because I stuffed them around a bit but they were more then helpful to accommodate with my lack of prep. I have used other removalist companies before but Pk has been the best and I would recommend them to anyone... in fact I have already given a friend their number.

Disgracefull mob – i hired this shonky lot to move our things into storage. upon inspection at the storage facility we discovered we are missing so many things. ie; jewellery stereo system lawnmower tools ride on mower ect ect. police are now involved. So am i!

We moved from Pacific Pines to Brisbane and they were so quick my wife and I couldn't believe it. We'll use these guys again for sure and all our friends have their number. Appalling experience – I initially contacted Gold Coast Removals for a quote on a move - during the phone call I made it very clear that I was calling for a quote and would call them back if I wanted to book them for the move. claimed that I had booked them for the move when I had made it very clear that I was calling for a quote. They answered back with 'why do I have all your details then?' Firstly, this is extremely rude and threatening and secondly, the details they had were the details you would give to any moving company in order to obtain a quote (suburbs and building types). Other remarks made to me in the conversation included 'do you know how much business you've lost me?' and 'this is extremely rude cancelling a move the day before.' They also hung up the phone on me when I was trying to tell them my side of the story. Again I had never confirmed the move with them and yet they called and abused me, guilt-tripped me and basically threatened me. Obviously this was a very upsetting situation (just before the day of a big move) and thus, I feel that the public should be made aware of just how this company operates. I recommend staying well clear of this company.

the terrible weather conditions.

We however decided to give a local company a go as we know business is bad on the coast. Well with only half the stuff to move - as we had already moved across cabinets, tv cabinets, the contents of all the cupboards etc, and an extra person, Gold Coast Removalist took as long to move the stuff.

They used all sorts of reasons for the slow move - no access to the lifts - which was rubbish as I was there when the unit manager gave them a key that allowed priority lift access. In the end they took over an hour to move a queen bed. When I called the company to complain about how slow it was, they did nothing.

In the end I had to move the bases from a king bed, the BBQ, a small table and chairs down, as they were nowhere to be seen. When it came time to paying I was told that I was lying. Well even the cleaners were commenting on how slow they were.

Inefficient, smoked in the van, way too expensive for the service provided.

November 2012 – Gold Coast removals provided an outstanding service on our recent move. After previously using another moving company that was less than satisfactory I was worried about moving.
