Bad Product and service Golf Caravan – DON"T BUY A GOLF CARAVAN. SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN. In late June 2023 I drove my wife to Golf Super Centre at Burpengary. My wife was recovering from a stroke in May and was unable to drive of 6 months. We inspected several Golf Caravans. We settled on Golf Savannah Maxxi 573 pop top caravan because of the island bed. Because of our age and abilities. We paid a deposit to hold for us. We agreed on 8th August 2023 for delivery. I gave them a list of what needed to be fixed before delivery. Late July I was admitted to Hospital for surgery for a massive kidney stone removal. I was not allowed to drive of 5 weeks after that. I advised Golf I could not drive for 5 weeks and could they deliver our new caravan to our home 16 km's away, no. So our delivery was pushed back and pushed back for final inspection etc and eventually I picked up the new van in late August 2023. No D Bolts were supplied even after paying 75k. We found the van was dirty and the listed items were not fixed. I supplied Golf a list of 17 items that needed to be fixed or replaced. Golf advised us that Items needed are ordered and all the parts must arrive first before it would be fixed. Customers jobs with all parts would be fixed first regardless of how long others may have been waiting. So after long delays the items were fixed. We used the air conditioner cooling in summer. In winter 2024 when was very cold we found that air conditioner didn't work at all. We again took the van to Golf Burpengary and were told to contact A/c people at Caloundra. Some 40km from our home. If call out was used there was a call out fee payable by us and not covered by warrantee. I took the Van to Caloundra at 7.30am and was fixed without being billed. No other problems yet, fingers crossed. Sadly we just found out the Camer Microwave doesn't work. This was the first time we had need to use the microwave. Probably never worked. I rank Camer who said it's out of warrantee and we don't make that model any more. So we have to replace a new never worked microwave at our own expense. Great Golf garbage grief going great.
