efficient. He also explained and shadows that my Tv antenna and Foxtel dish would cast and effect efficiency of the panels. So he organized on the day of installation for my tv antenna to be moved and also asked if I minded people seeing I had solar panels from the road as some of the panels would be visible. A date was made for installation a couple of days later he rang and said they could do it earlier. The installation guys were very professional and efficient. Even when the incorrect solar panels were delivered he organized for the correct ones. Once installation was completed I had a problem with my inverter but no problem they came out and fixed it. Highly recommend.

elements of shade on certain parts of the roof that would impact solar production), which meant we would have had undelivered promises if we went with some of the other providers and their "deals" of false promises. Goliath took the time to make sure we were comfortable with their recommendation and quotation, and then worked with us to plan and execute a seamless installation.

The quality of workmanship was second-to-none, and the team were clean, polite and made very little noise (other than the power tools when they needed them). We have had 1 small question since installation, relating to our "user error" on the App for the solar system, which the team were very helpful with solving and explaining.

I cannot recommend the team at Goliath Solar & Electrical enough if you want a stress free solar installation experience. Furthermore, their quotation was extremely competitive, and I don't think you will find a better price for the knowledge, quality of work and service you receive from dealing with them.

been so long since the install. Eventually out of frustration i made the call. It was like they did the install last week, and someone would drop by in the next few days and reset the connection for the inverter. I even got a courtesy call once they had confirmed a date. All of this was carried out in the nicest possible way over the phone. Subsequent to this i organised a contact from sales to look at expanding our system. In this process they suggested I didnt spend money with them to expand my system as the financial benefit to me at this stage would be marginal. Amazing and refreshing to to see the customers interest put above a sales target when there is absolutley no finanacial benefit to them for doing so. A standout company that obviously has an ethos that is reflected in their integrity.

Fronius inverter and the price was comparable to others 6.6kw systems. We agreed that we would organize the meter change and they would do the rest. The system was installed on the agreed day with no fuss except for tiles being cracked or broken, we were warned and had sourced replacements prior. The estimated electric production was under estimated and it is a joy to look at bills coming in with credit written on them. Goliath Solar were truthful, punctual and professional and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solar system. I waited a year before submitting this review to track electric production and system install.

no-BS approach, including what to expect from a mostly flat roof install. Once an 'in-principle' price was agreed upon, he was soon on site and up the ladder to determine what could and couldn't be done. Very efficient. He liaised with the site electrician to ensure best position for inverter and cabling was pre-installed prior to plastering.

Team was on site early on the agreed upon day and did a terrific job, including cleaning up after themselves - they even moved the TV aerial to a more suitable position! Thanks Chris.

System is working as expected, and I am very happy. Tom is still happy to field questions as I learn the ins-and-outs.

I possibly could've saved some money, but believe I have paid for quality in both the system and customer service.

journey' (don't worry, I'm being wry – they didn't call it that) I was an 'expert'. (Well…) I like to understand things and it stimulated my interest, so I found myself doing lots of reading and researching. In the course of that I came across solarquotes.com, and was pleased to discover Goliath, who I'd just thought of as the company around the corner from me, were not only rated a Platinum Installer, they were also ranked #1 Platinum Installer(!)

As for the work itself – brilliant. I was sent an outline of what would happen on the day, and times. It was absolutely spot on – either my job was typical or they've done this so often they can plan it with a great deal of confidence. My job wasn't typical.

The guys arrived on the day when they said they would, and everything happened exactly as and when they said it would. The Installation Team were friendly, polite, respectful, competent and likable – exactly the same as David (the Company Founder) who I'd dealt with up until then. That consistency tells me it's company-cultural, which is what you want, not just the good luck to strike the right individual. It was a pleasure to invite them into my home.

And the system? Also brilliant! The work was neat, tidy, everything looks good and works perfectly. They organised everything and let me know anything I needed to. And I've already received followup phonecalls and emails to make sure everything's ok. And only people with solar systems know the sheer pleasure of looking at your inverter (or app) and seeing the energy being pumped out. A nice sunny day was good before – how much better is it now?!
