policy but wanted to charge me over +$3,000 in fees (including paying to return to Melbourne, despite having car depots nearer in Sydney), essentially eliminating any benefit of returning it. This felt like a deliberate attempt to deter me from exercising my consumer rights.

GoodCar's lack of accountability throughout this handover and following was appalling. They never once proactively offered compensation for the inconvenience caused or acknowledged the significant drop in the car's value due to their pricing decisions. I am now reporting them to the ACCC and strongly advise against buying from GoodCar.

The one EV in my reach was not my sort of car – It's big. It has a lot of features I don't especially relate to, like GPS trip planning & directions. It's very low and unnecessarily beautiful.
