Worst customer service I have experienced with a product as an electrician of 20 years. wasn't. Good luck to anybody else with warranty issues. I won't be buying any of their products again and will be advising customers to do the same.

a human, or I am connected to call-center staff who clearly do not understand the product or the issue. On several occasions, I was told someone would call me back — which never happened. There is no ownership of the issue, no follow-up, and no meaningful technical support. (Looks like GoodWe using third party cloud service provider)

I only went with a GoodWe EV charger because my installer recommended it to match the GoodWe inverter. Had I done more research or known how poor GoodWe’s after-sales support is, I would never have chosen this brand.

A product like an EV charger relies heavily on reliable technical support. Unfortunately, GoodWe has completely failed in this area. I would strongly caution others to think twice before choosing GoodWe, especially if you expect any level of customer service after installation.

We have been trying to contact GoodWe to help us with our existing GoodWe system and it is impossible - they send silly messages that are irrelevant, they refer us to retailers that don’t even work with GoodWe products, or they don’t return calls - totally useless. We are totally at a loss now.

technician come out to investigate, then he could put the claim through under the warranty!'

Im now out of pocket to get a technician out to replace the inverter. To say I'm not happy is an understatement.

PLEASE DO NOT USE GOODWE PRODUCTS! Your 10 year warranty doesn't mean anything.

I have a 5kw inverter and homekit (the power monitor module). The homekit is useless. It drops off my wifi every 3 days or so, and even when connected is unreliable (not monitoring for hours at a time). installer and goodwe but the installer forwards me to goodwe. They seem to think it is working as intended. Absolute garbage. No issues with the inverter yet.

Horrible company. Had an inverter fail just weeks outside the warranty period and they couldn’t care less. Absolute joke of a company and their inverters are junk that can barely make it outside the warranty period before they fail. Avoid

Initially when I had an issue with the inverter dying soon after installation they were great, and a new inverter was supplied quickly. The problem is with the Wifi dongle being a total nightmare!!! I struggled to get the dongle to connect to the wifi router, despite me being an experienced electrician and communications tech. I did finally… Read more

succeed, but around 2 years later after my old TP-Link router died and I replaced it with an Eero 6+. I spent around 8 hrs running through various troubleshooting including contacted Goodwe and getting generic responses. I then tried to get ahold of the Goodwe Lan dongle so I could hardwire it to the router. I then found out 2x firends had their dongles drop off the wifi. I then spent hours trying to help them. I sent Goodwe messages, phoned them, tried to order through Electrical wholesalers, and no one at Goodwe would respond to mine or the electrical wholesalers request to provide either the Lan kit of the dual Wifi/Lan kit. or tell us where to buy them. Their support may have been good once. but in 2025 it is now HOPELESS!

They promise you everything before you join up. They say they have customer support that is in Australia and if you have any concerns to contact them. My solar stopped working 1 month after it was installed and I had no idea until I got a huge power bill. like the fault was mine. I even reached out to a manager via email twice and he did not have the decency to reply to me. DO NOT USE GOODWE. They are terrible.

Avoid Goodwe! – I am deeply disappointed with my GoodWe EV charger and the company's lack of effective support. The charger fails to operate correctly in PV priority mode, using all solar energy produced rather than just the excess. exchanges with GoodWe support, they finally (MONTHS) provided a firmware update, which should be as simple as being available on their website. While this update fixed the PV priority issue, it subsequently broke the scheduled charging functionality. This compounded my frustration as I was left with a different, yet equally disruptive problem.

Additionally they have recently updated the SEMS app, which has now broken communication with the EV charger. It will not load in the app and has rendered the charger completely useless.

Goodwe has one EV technician in Australia, who does not answer his phone and does not respond to email communication. Do not let Goodwe fool you with saying they have Australian support, they may have an office here, but support is non existant.

My experience with GoodWe's customer support has been frustrating. Despite detailed descriptions and repeated follow-ups, their responses have been slow, generic and unhelpful. They have not acknowledged the need for a more thorough investigation or provided a lasting solution.

I also emailed their executive leadership team after finding them on LinkedIn. Not one person responded, showing that this is a problem from the very top down to the very bottom.

I would not recommend this product due to its persistent malfunctions and the company's inadequate support.

Goodwe Inverter is BadWee – Inverter broke down months ago 'under warranty'. Still waiting for a replacement. If you install solar DO NOT USE Goodwe, they are BadWee. Installed by Origin Energy, so perhaps they need to get different suppliers. (It's probably cheap Chinese rubbish)

Then just over 5 years the warranty on the inverter from original installation date , not the date they got the original unit to work but the date they installed a faulty unit. I contacted goodwe but not interested in the time wasn’t working only the date of original installation. So in just over 5 years we’ve had 3 goodwe inverters , so I would not ever use there equipment again or recommend them.
