Biggest flagship phone in 2014 still going strong in 2014 – Nexus 6 .... in a lot of ways it is essentially a super-sized moto x 2nd gen...... as of sept 2018....the phone is still super responsive and smooth .... I think google phones and Oneplus phones are the only androids that won’t stutter or lag over a lengthy period of use Out of all 2014 phones .... this ....... moto x 2nd gen Oneplus one and… Read more
iPhone 6 are the only ones that can still be trouble free comfortable to use daily driver..... just root a custom android p 9.0 and swap in a new battery ....... this baby will continue to run like a champ
Especially for the price I got which was 38 aud
It’s really an unbelivable value
Good phone for the price – Big screen, responsive phone. Had it for over 2 years, quite a reliable device. However the back surface is quite slippery if you put it on a table top which is probe tk getting scratched. Nothing that a phone cover wont fix though. The battery lasts over a day with normal usage. Show details
Best phone yet – This has an awesome camera and lots of great functions like Google casting to my smart tv. You can talk to it, and the Google Play music is good. Ive switched from an iPhone so it was a big adjustment but now I wouldn't go back. Will definitely buy future models Show details
Great, stock Android phone – The Nexus 6 is amazing in all regards from the stock firmware to the camera with HDR+. However, as with all Android phones, it has slown down after time and has scratches here and there. The screen is extremely high resolution and is very comfortable to use due to its large size. I have no major complaints apart from the non-removable battery! Show details
good phone however – a great phone however for the black model the paint at around the charging port got worn off after a year of usage. great battery life, which can easily last till the end of the day. i got several comparability issues with apps as well as multiple app crashes. dd Show details
great pictures – this camera takes amazing pictures, only lagging a bit behind the new Samsung or IPhones. No bloatware is great and keeps the phone responsive. Battery life is above average but could do with a bit more. The size is huge to say the least but after a while one gets used to it Show details
A great value smartphone – The google nexus 6 is not a phone for everyone; it has one of the largest screens i have ever seen on a smartphone, but lucky for me i dont have small hands. If you have small hands, you wont be able to use the device one handed. The phone has an excellent 1440p screen, and has fast specifications for a late 2014 phone. It has been about 2 years… Read more
since i purchased the phone, and it hasn't missed a beat. Still as snappy as the day i bought it. The phone loses points on the camera, which is often sluggish to start, and lacks 60fps recording, but it does have 4k 30fps. Overall this is a great phone and can be found at a good price these days.
Great phone if you like big phones – It is definitely a great phone for the price. having a 6inch OLED screen with QHD resolution is really nice. battery covers a day of usage easily. haven't seen any design or build quality issues yet. it is lacking some features of latest flagship phones such as finger-print scanner and dual camera. but instead it has a clean android installation without any third party apps. Good phone – I think it is really a good mobile phone. It is andriod system and I believe it is the fastest andriod system. Otherwise, the interface is so good. But the camera is not so good. If u want a good camera, maybe u need to buy a iPhone. The google service is also really brilliant. Show details
Can not compete with Apple but good for the price – I bought this phone last year just for a change from an apple iphone. I always been using Apple products like iphone, Mac, iPad and iPod but this time my friend insisted me to try Nexus. But it was horrible experience. Nexus simply can not compete with iPhone. Android is not as user friendly as ios. Will never buy again. Show details
Google Nexus 6 - You have big hands – If you don't have big hands, or are happy using both your hands to operate this pocket tablet, you'll love the Nexus 6 just as much as I did. I owned 2 of these phones, they're not the top of the line, but they're very good at what they do - which is act as a tv in your pocket. Across the board, this phone was great, the day to day usability… Read more
was never an issue, it was responsive, fast, and honestly the best phone I've ever had (Except the Galaxy S8 which I own now, and is superb). If you're looking for an all-round great phone with a big screen (6"), then consider this phone. Yes it's now old, but it's still more than enough for the current generation apps and videos - It's only a fraction of the price of what it used to cost too, just be sure to get the Nexus 6 with the Australian Network Bands (XT1100 (Global Model)), so you've got 4G network.
Good phone with both upsides and downsides – Positive: Great interface and easy to use Customisable Fast operating system which does not diminish over time Camera Sleek design Negative: Battery life deteriorates over time - after 6 months, I will need to charge everyday Small internal storage and is not compatible with external storage unlike other android models Show details
Just perfect! – I bought it to use on an overseas trip. I did not want to carry a tablet or laptop and a mobile phone. The Nexus 6 was big enough to show details in regards to booking and train journeys. The OS upgrades were fast and reliable and at the moment I have Android 7.0. It works perfectly as a navigator, camera , e-reader and sometime even as a phone. Show details

Smooth operator – Having decided to hand over my Huawei Ascend Mate 7 to my son, I looked for a Nexus 6 to purchase second hand. Found one on ebay for $290 delivered & have used it for about 2 months now. Software is superb & has updated 4 times since my purchase (Huawei only updated twice in about 16 months). This Nexus 6 has software that works seamlessly, & the… Read more
screen is only slightly smaller than my beloved Ascend Mate 7. The software doesn't lag nor freeze like my Ascend Mate 7 had a tendency to do. Speakers at the front are a big plus as well. Love it.
Great device – The Nexus 6 is Google's first attempt at a phablet. Nice Design and feels very premium on hand. It's powerful, high-res and comes with the latest and greatest version of Android. But be warned that it's difficult to use with one hand, and its battery life is average at best.
Best phone to date!!!! (late 2014 - early 2015) – This phone is amazing. It is large and once you use it you can't ever go back to smaller screens. The speakers are great and really loud. There are two front facing speakers. Android 5.1 runs like a dream on this beast of a phone. 4K video recording is amazing and photos are fantastic. When I bought mine, 64GB was limited in stock so had to settle… Read more
for the 32GB version. All the Aussie retailers (Aussie Stock not grey import) only stock 32GB which is a shame. If you're looking for a phone outright don't go past the Nexus 6. No waiting for manufacturers and carriers to release updates. Get it from the source straight away. If you get this, you'll be guaranteed to get updates even 2 or more years ahead unlike other branded Android phones.
Pros: Large screen, great sound quality, nice design, constant software updates, great camera
Cons: No removable battery, no upgradeable storage, limited 64GB stock/retailers
