Overall great phone with one major problem – Great camera quality and runs smoothly. I personally think it's a little small, but some people may prefer that so I can't say it's a negative. I did have a problem where the power button would get stuck and open up the menu with the "Emergency" button, where the phone automatically called the local emergency services multiple times. I fixed this… Read more

by heating the button with a hairdryer and cleaning it, but it was quite stressful to deal with and the issue returned a couple of times. This seems to have happened to many people with the Pixel 3. I'd otherwise give it a 4/5 if it didn't have this problem.

Actually unbelievably sturdy – My google pixel 3 got dropped on a gravel hill and driven over by a van. Has a screen protector and tech21 case. It still somehow functions perfectly, no dead spots or cracks in the screen, no bends or dents. Super impressive.

Simple SMS too complex for Pixel 3 – I have had the Pixel 3 since Feb 22 when purchased new. In the last few days SMS has stopped working & there is no support from Google to get the problem fixed. Show details

2nd pixel and I love it – I haven't had any issues with either of my pixel phones (2 & 3). I upgrade my pixel 2 to the pixel 3 about 12 months ago. Everything works as it should and happy with performance. They break as easily as iPhones though when you drop them, but have been easy enough to get the screen replaced. Show details

Great camera for travel – Always had Apple products but switched to Google last year after much research on the cameras. Travelled to Russia, Baltic states and Switzerland so plenty of great scenery. Took my big Nikon SLR too but really can’t tell the difference between the photos, except at night. Here the Google night sight shone. Way better photos from the phone. Love… Read more

the ease of the onboard editing facilities too. Colours are brilliant and crisp. I am a very fussy photographer and just have to get the perfect shot so love the Google with it’s fast camera start. Bought the XL and worth the extra. Also use with a full cover so no worries after dropping it many times on concrete etc. I don’t notice the chin at the top that others have negatively reviewed. Very fast charge and great battery life. Sometimes music can sound a bit tinny if not through earphones. Love everything about the Google Pixel 3.

3 year old Pixel 3 bricked EDL issue – 3 year old Pixel 3 bricked. Will not turn on. Connecting it to a PC via USB appears as QUSB_BULK* and that's it. Can't access files or anything. Tried multiple hold down power button, volume button combinations from tips after reading online about EDL issue with Pixel 3s but nothing has worked. It does not turn on. Thankfully had an old… Read more

Sony Xperia so was able to use that instead but really disappointed that a 6+ year old phone works better (at least it turns on and I can make a phone call!) compared to a 3 year old one.

Will not buy Pixel again.

Avoid. Phone bricked and google don't care – Phone has been good until the issue where having the latest updates will brick your phone rendering completely useless. Please avoid buying, google "pixel 3 bricked" for plenty of threads about it.

Does the trick, buy still not good enough – Battery life is quite poor. Microphone does not work well when talking on speaker phone. These two factors mean I wouldn't buy this phone again. Everything else works fine. I like the camera. Show details

This phone is the definition of a horrible design – This phone has three major design flaws that render it among the worst phones ever created for it's price range. lets get to the point: 1. The worst thing about it is the charging input on the phone itself is their own unique pixel 3 design that is best described as the input slot of a monstrously busy wench who caters to men of all sizes. The… Read more

slot is somehow wider than the cable it came with (stock cable) and caused me nightmares since the first day I purchased. This was the only phone I ever refused to pay insurance for as I never crack or damage my phones and have NEVER experienced problems with the charging or audio input sockets. From day one it would take me between 20 seconds and 2 minutes to position it in a way where it is actually allowing charge to happen. Over time it somehow became even more difficult to get this working and two years later takes me between 2 minutes and 15 minutes to position so It can charge. All of the two cables I purchased off eBay haven't even been able to provide a charge despite them being exactly the same as the stock cable. Disgraceful.

2. There is no f^*((&(*^( 3.5 mm audio jack on the phone? This is ridiculous. As someone who records themselves and others speaking through a lavaliere mic this is most vital. Only a cruel monster of a man would remove such an important feature. Who ever made the decision to remove it I really hope they receive a boss that is equally as cruel and stingy as they were when they decided to remove this product.

3. NO EXPANDABLE STORAGE! (this was not advertised by my local Vodaphone shop who deceived me into choosing this product without mentioning this rather important fact). Didn't even know non expandable was a thing. Fools.

P.s. there is no Wireless charger that came with this phone. Out of principle I'm not buying one. If google want another dollar from me for releasing such a disgraceful product they will have to pry it from my cold dead body.

Was it worth it for the camera? Hell no. Camera features make each photo use up ridiculous storage. The google drive is slow as hell and requires you to manually move them out of your phone And there are much better phones with equivalent cameras without all these horrible design flaws.

worst phone ever made - lots of bugs – I've had this phone replaced twice, and twice it had similar issues relating to speaker quality (people having trouble hearing me on speaker). Since the recent update on the phone, almost everything is faulty: messaging faults, captions turning on without being programmed to, screenshot functionality really bad, and on and on.  Show details

too expensive for such a phone – for that price expected more. no jack, low memory, no memory stick. Google changing policy reducing benefits for the owners, doesn't hold what has proposed. Text must have at least 30 words

Without a doubt the worst phone I've ever had – Very poor call quality (and can't actually understand many voice messages due to poor audio), high rate of call drop out, takes an extraordinarily long time to turn on/restart, camera/gallery does a weird loud ticking thing for a few seconds every so often. I went to update my Samsung and was talked into this. Never again. Show details

Moving up from the 2XL to the 3a XL the build, feel and strength of the 3a is terrible – Having the google pixel 3a XL for a few months now I have realised I made a mistake purchasing this phone. The 3a feels cheap compared to the 2XL I had previously. Now having an issue with the screen having failed due to heat with no support from Google at all, the pixel 2 stood up to the same amount of heat with no issues the 3a is obviously a cheap build. Very disappointed. Show details

Awful – Usually I really cannot be bothered writing reviews but being such an expensive phone and having such a painful experience with it I thought I would. - Atrocious battery life - Poor performance (regular freezes, occasional inexplicable lag) - Unresponsive touch screen (I gave up using 'Double tap to wake' after a month or two as it didn't work… Read more

Good camera and price – I honestly had to send mine back because I received a phone with a broken camera. It was a pretty awful process and took lots of hours of customer service. Hands down the worst battery life on any phone ever – Software-wise, I would consider this smarter than an iPhone, in general, except for the fact the Google Assistant never worked. Read every instruction including online and phone support with Google to resolve, and even they couldn't resolve the issue. Claimed in would be fixed in an update, but never happened in its 12 months of life. Over the… Read more

last 2 months, battery life slowly started to diminish to the point where the phone eventually died from complete battery failure. Google wouldn't replace it under warranty because of a small crack on the corner of the screen. So if you would like to flush $900 down the toilet slowly, buy a Googe Pixel 3. Money well wasted.

Poor call quality, blinking, – My 64GB Google Pixel 3 is now 9 months working. I bought it from Harvey Norman, still has a warranty. I have not any problem with its screen, or its software. On a serious note, please search google pixel self restarting or not opening in google and you will find the number of people that have this problem. In addition, they do not have service centre so it is not as easy to get it fixed like other brands. I upgraded from pixel 1 xl after it was unfixable after 2 years use. I regret this phone.

Best Flagship Phone still – I swapped from Android to iOS for years and as a freelancer, I need a all in one phone that can take photos, edit easily, email and be interactive. The Pixel 3 is it.
