rent and send another inquiry. Received a response to call this Alan guy which I did.

I asked him in what condition this place is in, as its unusual its still on the market. But he responded that its up to him to find the right person for the flat. We arranged to meet at 3pm at the property, I arrived at 2.45 went up to the unit and knocked. But there was nobody there yet. So just waited outside until 3.15pm Nobody showed up and I realized I wasted my time there. So I just left and send him an email asking him what happened to him! He called back 15 minutes later and started making some sort of excuse mixed with a lot of arrogance.

I just told him not to call me again and hung up.

Unbelievable the incompetence mixed with the arrogance of this guy!

which in reality are a position requiring educated executives, should be a concern. We have an increasing number of retirees buying into schemes. The promise of their needs being met for repairs and maintenance of their home, through their golden years - what a perfect mark for Gordon’s criminal M.O. If only the contracted agent wasn’t so sneaky, self serving and greedy, this would be the ideal investment and living decision for all. Gordon Robinson is a genius at playing with numbers, this man has had many years of practice. Gordon has become super comfortable and familiar given the lack of governance in the strata industry. He has no hesitation in exploiting the multiple loopholes and uses the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of owners to continue his unscrupulous behaviour. A serial scam artist - this agent Gordon Robinson and his real estate team aka Bellevue Hill real estate are not one of a kind but they’re definitely the one strata agent to avoid if you’re shopping around. Look for strata agents who’re members of Afca and the strata association at the very least. The businesses who hold these memberships, are at least transparent with statements and financials and communicate effectively per obligation to paying consumers. A bad agent will be removed from the trusted list of agents should they fall short of their obligations. Truth and honesty will always prevail and the sharing of experiences will help others and change will happen.

It’s really disturbing and sad to see the reviews of those who’ve been cheated and ridiculed as far back as 12 years. It is however, clear evidence of a long standing strata con this guys been running.

Dishonest – This real estate agency is dishonest in its dealings with rental applicants. I was told my Mother, who is elderly and unwell, and myself were unsuccessful in our application. As another applicant from a different agent offered higher rent. I then saw the same apartment continually advertised at a lower price.

calls, insurance commissions? Which is all for them, of course.

They haven’t even visited our property in 2 years. They are rude and dismissive on the phone, just want the funds, and if you are slightly late they start reading the riot act with you, charging exorbitant late fees such as $120 for 60 days late. I can tell you these people are ripping people off. I am selling all my properties which are run by these people and will never buy an investment where they are the strata manager. Total disaster all round. Don’t use Gordon Robinson Real Estate for strata management, whatever you do! Their focus is real estate management and sales but not strata management.

Better to engage a specialist strata management firm – not a jack of all trades real estate agent!
