The Grand Hotel Mornington

Terrible service tonight. Staff saw customers waiting at the bar and simply ignored them while standing around chatting each other up. No acknowledgment, no urgency, no customer focus. The Grand Mornington has really gone downhill. Won’t be back.

Poor service and poor quality food – The service was poor and the food was extremely average being warm to cold and beig from a large group of people we are now looking for a new place to have a decent meal we used this venue quite regularly but no longer will we patronise the Grand Hotel Mornington

Lunch – We had lunch at the grand hotel Wednsday 15th March, my husband had Seniors calamari with chips and vegetables. Well I know we are seniors but we still deserve a decent meal. I had chicken stay and rice thought this safe option it wasn't very nice. Very disappointing

Grand Regulars Disappointed – Evening of Feb 27th we booked a table for my step sons' Birthday and unfortunately were very disappointed with the meals. aside from being cold, the sauces that were meant to be on the meals were about 2 drops or none at all. The prices seem to have gone up and if you have to pay $42 for a steak you would expect that the sauce and the garlic butter would be as ordered and not left off completely. Your potato pattie should not be burnt. The staff, although run off their feet, did an amazing job under the circumstances. I'm not sure if the hotel has changed hands or there is a new chef, but as regulars we will have to think about going there again.
