Tyre pressure Sensor – In My Great WallSteed the tyre pressure sensor light on the dash has been on for a while, is there a way that I can have it reset or even isolated. And thinking of having a tow bar installed so I can purchase a caravan. (My question is what weight can I legally tow with it) Show details
Best ute for the money – 3 years of ownership no issues. Ute for the money is great and works perfectly for inner city garden business. Don't tow anything heavy and don't need to drive off road. payed 20k with 12k on the clock. Show details
My Steed 5 Excape – I got my Steed 5E 2.4 brand new in 2019. The Steed 5E is soft on steering, low noise in cabin, perfect ECS and easy to use avionics. I use it both on and off road and so far no problems with this car. I have not repaired anything apart from normal annual service. I use it for all my farm errands and daily friend to escort me wherever. I have… Read more
looked after it very well and it has served me well too. Keeping the car clean all the time and more so after off road operation from the farm keeps this thing up to date and good. Servicing it on time in accordance with the supplied maintenance schedule. So far I have no regrets with this car and would well recommend to anyone who needs a new double cab for doing things and family rides.
CHEAP DUAL CAB UTE YOUR WARRANTY IS USELESS – Well I'm back to complain about my great wall steed, if you want anything covered by the warranty you will be sorry you even asked, at 9,000 kilometres my front carpet was wearing through, now at 20,000 kilometres its worn out with holes right to the floorboards, the car is not miss treated and vacuumed regularly, its a 2020 model so the klms that… Read more
have been put on it are minimal, contacting the service centre at 9000klms did me know good nor did bringing it to their attention again at 20000klm service, told to contact gwm myself, did that and no go, told its normal wear and tear, wth its a problem from 9000klms and now its my problem, so much for their warranty ay,just on this issue alone would stop me from purchasing anymore gwm vehicles, anything to not fix issues that are obviously from defective material, wear and tear, leaves it open not to fix anything that moves, first gwm vehicle and will be my last, and all because the Chinese owned brand dont want to loose any money
4x2 petrol dual cab – Very good so far as others have said, the not so good, light steering, turning circle not great, gearbox little bit noisy, but other than that we love it great to drive, getting better performance as its getting more klms on it for $20.000 I don't see why you wouldn't buy one will update as we get more klms on it. 2018/19 Great Wall Steed Dual Cab Test Drive ...... Coooool – OK, before l begin writing my review of the 2019 Great Wall Steed Dual Cab 4 X 2 petrol engine, let me say this firstly .........Yes it's Chinese and yes it comes from China ...... If you can get yourself over that one fact, read on ... If not, it's your loss. Great Wall has been producing dual cab utes originally based significantly on 2003 2004… Read more
2005 Holden/Isuzu Rodeo twin can utes. Do you need me to tell you that again .... I don't think so. Gone is that fuel hungry horrible 3.5 V6 engine that even Holden dumped in 2005 for the Commodore engine. In its place now in Great Wall form, is a Mitsubishi 4 cylinder petrol engine which is mated to a 5 speed .manual transmission. Is it the most powerful engine in the world ...hell no, but it works, and it works well. My son has a 2011 Great Wall V240 K2. The more like a Holden Rodeo version with the 2.4 L Mitsubishi petrol engine. The Steed as it is now known is a finely updated and far more appealing version of my son's car. My daughter test drove one yesterday and she is more than happy to trade in my 2010 Ford FG XR50 on it. She drove it and loved it. Yes she has her manual license and drives an auto daily, but would easily shift into this. See your dealer, why spend more for less, the Chinese are catching up very quickly in quality, looks and ownability.
Don't believe me, GO LOOK FOR YOUR SELF.
Currently at $19,990 for everything you see on the road here in Victoria, is hardly anything to scoff at.
