Fruit juice – I have an old GPT-E1303 which I use a lot for vegetable juice, but when I put fruit through it, it just doesn't work, even with the fruit attachment. It complete clogged up trying to juice grapes! Show details

Love it! – As a Raw food Chef I juice a lot. I have tried other juicers, only to be disappointed. I now own 2 Hippocrates juicers, one for me and one for my retreats. I love that I can make all my juices the night before and they are all fresh the next day. The quality of the juice is smooth, delicious with no pulp.  Show details ·  1

Excellent for vegetables, but not good with fruit – I thought this was an excellent juicer for vegetables, but not so good with fruit. It clogs up especially when you juice soft fruit. The quality of the juice though, is amazing. So if you believe in 'eat your fruits and juice your vegetables', this is for you. Personally I love fruit juice so it was not very practical for me.  Show details ·  1

Makes the best juice I've tasted! – The juice you make with the Greenpower Hippocrates can be stored in the fridge for later without deterioration, although I usually can't stop drinking it all at once. It probably isn't the most effortless juicer, if you compare it with a high-speed juicer, as you need to push the carrots and beets down strongly onto the auger. But the cleanup is… Read more

easier once you are used to it, as there is only a small mesh area to brush out. I'm glad I went for this model with steel augers, as I can't imagine a slow juicer working very well or very long with anything less.

Good – Overall is good but you need to be strong to push leafy greens in and takes a long time, cleaning is a pain as you have to use the little brush that is supplied to remove vegetable matter that gets squashed into screen. you also need to change screens for fruit which is more cleanup.

Best cold press juicer in the market! – I had it for 3 years and never had a problem with it! Initially i thought it was expensive but it is worth every penny! The only thing is that the screen is a bit small and requires a lot of cleaning, when extracting fruit juices specially. Other thing it can stain easily! If possible choose it in black or other non-white color. The dual metal… Read more

extractor juices very well, and produces juice full of enzymes and nutrients.( unlike centrifugation juicers). The best juicer to extract wheatgrass, sprouts and leafy greens. It's heavy and strong and mine came with 20 years warranty. As any other juice this juicer require a good clean after every use. It comes with a little brush especific to this juicer, to clean small hard to reach areas. It takes around 15 minutes to make the juice and clean the machine. Highly recommend it !

Good for 1 glass of juice – Good juicer but only suits to make one glass of juice - the screen get clogged and need to be clean before making more juice. Good on hard veges and not so good on soft like tomatoes. otherwise is OK. A bit difficult to clean up comparing to other juicers. quiet, good extraction screen is very small - need to clean often

Not what we expected! – The video mpg4 is in some form of strange Jinglish and so is the handbook. These guide materials are not impenetrable just very obtuse and leave several items a bit vague - for example the use of the feeding chute handle. Is there a clearer and more accessible user manual in plain English so that we do not have to translate sentences such as… Read more

this on page 3, "Separation of Agrichemicals and Heavy Metals - Based on the Scientific logic proposed …. etc etc that the heavy metal and fiber (pulp) separated after mashing and crushing vegetables are combined with affinity, the Green Power Juice Extractor is specially designed and created to extract pure fresh juice by discharging the combined agrichemicals and heavy metal with the vegetable pulp through the utilisation of a complete mashing, crushing, and squeezing method." What does that mean? One long, strange sentence that sounds like hocus pocus. Unfortunately the rest of the manual is the same.

The warranty is also obtuse and the manual says it only applies to Korea. What is the CCA warranty and where is it? A strict requirement in Australia.

It took a us three quarters of an hour to set it up, squeeze two glasses of juice and clean it.

I can't find the enthusiasm for this juicer that would let me endorse or recommend it. Solid as - and relatively quiet for it heft Difficult manual and mpg4 DVD that inhibits understanding
