perfectly sized for the nook in my bedroom that was originally her sleep space, but also because I was aware that it could ultimately be converted to a single bed. The single bed kit arrived this week ;) now to overcome my attachment to her being a "baby" and upgrade!

Don’t buy this product!!! – Purchased a GROTIME Changeover 6 in 1 (white colour) in Baby Bunting Auburn in September 2013 for $1300 (after discount - original price was $1599). Corresponded with the sales secretary ([name removed]) in August 2018 due to problems converting it into a single bed. kit bed kit free of charge if I’m still experiencing the same problem. She is a very good team member.

I converted into a single bed 2 weeks ago and am facing the same problem that I already mentioned to [name removed] last year. I tried to contact her again and found out that she’s no longer working there and the company has been taken over by another company. The other sales team member, [name removed], asked me to purchase a single bed kit to fit standard single mattress’ in Australia.

I told him that I refuse to spend more money since the problem isn’t at my end. The reason I bought the GROTIME changeover 6 in 1 was to save money in the future and I am not liable for an internal technical company problem as what seems to be happening at the moment.

The standard of the single bed in Australia changed around 2010, why is GROTIME still selling products that are against Australia’s standards? They are now asking customers to fix the problem at the customer’s own expense?

Seriously?

the separate stand more expensive than buying a whole new bassinet. The only minor problems we have had is the drop side rail sticking a bit when it was new, but after a few months of use this resolved itself. Also the wood is quite soft so we do have a few teeth marks along the sides! This isn't a big deal though as those sides come off when the cot becomes a bed.

Now we are ready to convert to a single bed we have had no trouble having the new longer rails sent out so a standard single mattress fits the frame. I wonder if we had contacted Grotime directly rather than going through our local baby shop (who were quite difficult) we would have had a better result with the bassinet stand.

cot to put a few things if needed. The guy from Grotime set it up for us on the weekend at an awesome rate which was good. There was one issue however and a note to remember...

- My daughter wasn't born yet but the cot was setup. My sister had her baby and used the bassinet while she was over. The Bassinet started to rip while my sister's daughter was inside. Thankfully my sister heard the thing start to rip and was able to get her daughter before she fell through the bassinet. I contacted Grotime and sent the photos to them of the damaged bassinet and they replaced with a new one immediately. My niece was under the weight limit so I know that was not the issue. Once we had the replacement everything was fine!!!

- For future parents. If you buy this cot please be aware when your bubs starts to stand, he or she may be able to reach the change table and try to grab anything from there.We have her change mat there and she always tries to grab it so at every nap and sleep we remove that as well as the nappy caddy we have on the side of the cot. Keep this in mind as when they are able to stand in their cot they will grab ANYTHING. Hope this helps :)

single bed. Unfortunately, we purchased the cot in 2011, before the Australian single bed standards changed, so a current single mattress is too long. However, Grotime's customers service is fantastic - they offered to send a conversion kit to our home free of charge. Very happy with the quick response & great service. We also have a Grotime bookshelf and are looking to purchase the toy box at some stage. Our experience is that the furniture is of superior quality backed by great customer support & service. Quality, style, customer service. Australian single bed standards changed since purchasing product.

Amazing Cot – We love our Grotme cot, it’s very safe and sturdy and easy to put together. Love that it changes from a cot to a cot with a side off to a bed. Great price and excellent customer service when we need extra bits to turn into a single bed. Very happy with our purchase

Perfect cot, would not choose another! – We have had our Grotime Changeover Cot since 2012. From using the bassinet as a new-born, Cot mode as a toddler and Single Bed now for a pre-schooler, the Changover has met our families expanding needs. It's flexibility and value means we will not need a new bed for another 10 or so years! It still looks great and is easy to clean. I would highly recommend this Cot/Bed system to parents looking for long term value in a purchase.

Grotime Changeover is cool – We purchased full set of Grotime Changeover cot, Grotime Nursery drawers, change table. After five years of use, everything is still rock solid and looks new. Fantastic quality, it was worth buying Grotime. After sales support and customer service is fantastic. I recommend Grotime products to anyone who is looking to buy quality.

Be Aware Of Safety! Draws Fall On Children!!! – This has been a great setup but You Need To All Be Alerted To Safety Risk With This Product. When Child Climbs Onto Draws They Are Unstable and can be Pulled Down On Top Of Child. Growtime Have Advised They Have Sent Out Alerts But Havnt Seen One. They Are Also Offering A Bracket To Connect Draws Together. If You Own One Please Contact Growtime To Prevent A Fall On Your Child.

No side parts for bassinet – I am a first time mum and loved the idea of the caboodle set although we have just put it together and have found that there aren't any sides to the bassinet. It's a bit silly that you can't have it all set up. Is there anyway around this? As I find this a little frustrating.

Death trap waiting to happen! – In toddler bed arrangement drawer units sit atop bed frame (unsecured). Our 3yo has twice now nearly pulled the heavy drawers on top of himself. Surprised there's no locking mechanism at the top of the drawers/change tables to prevent this. Would modify/sell this before there's a national safety recall issued! the idea of a nursery/kids room furniture item with more than one configuration... Such a shame it's UNSAFE!

Cannot buy another cot in walnut – We bought one cot in walnut the rollover 6 in 1. When twins were announced went to buy another one in walnut. Very dissapointed as they discontinued the walnut colour. We are now stuck trying to find a walnut one. If you still have a walnut one in stock somewhere we would love it. Thankyou

Has been a big life saver – We loved our cot from the get go. We got it at a steal of a price and it has served us well. Only down fall is that the single mattress stage is slightly smaller than normal and we didn't know this until after we brought a mattress :(. Other than that we love our purchase.

Ups and downs – We were so excited to get this product, and loved the colour and how solid the cot was. The side rail would occasionally stick, making it difficult to lift bubba in and out at times, but still a good quality product. Although the single bed was slightly smaller than the standard single mattress, Grotime have been very helpful in helping us fix this!

Awesome cot & great service Grotime – We bought this cot back in 2012 to see our first daughter through to a single bed, It has come the time to change it over to a single bed and upon doing research to buy a mattress I have found that the mattress sizing standards have changed since buying this product. Great product – We loved this cot very very practical having everything in one. Great for smaller houses as its compact. However when we changed the got to a single bed we couldn't get a mattress to fit which was very disappointing. Grotime as agreed to replace single bed once of spoke to them which we are very thankful for.

delivered. A quick phone call to Grotime customer service and new side rails are on the way. Around the time we purchased it, various mattress manufacturers standardised their mattress size and Grotime have been good enough to help out those customers that purchased around that time.

Would highly recommend for those looking at having a furniture set that will last for many years.

Be Wary of Drawers – Love the cot and the setting up of it and the way we can interchange it when she is older. However the drawers are not stable and are not drilled into anything when they are set under for the changeable, which has caused grief when child grabbed to reach top drawer and both drawers and cabinet pinned her on the floor.

Love It! – Loved the bassinet that my baby slept in from birth, loved the cot and now it is the big girl bed. One purchase all we had to do was buy the single mattress. So practical, beautiful quality. will last us well into teenage years. Single mattress we bought didn't fit, contacted the company they organised to have new rails sent out. Fortunately Courtney at Growtime offered to send directly to us replacement rails (fee of charge) to suit a single mattress if I posted a review. I can highly recommend Grotime to any parents looking for great, quality products that stand the test of time.

Fantastic cot - highly recommend – I bought this cot before I had my daughter loving how versatile it was and compact it was being an all-in-one. My daughter is now 2 1/2 so I have used it right through from the cot with papoose, cot, toddler bed (cot with rail down) and full sized single bed with 2 bedside tables. Fortunately Growtime customer service offered to send some replacement rails to suit a single mattress directly to my house if I post a review. The cot and change table has been very sturdy and excellent quality and we have recommended this set to friends. Baby Bunting also offered to help solve the issue if Growtime didnt help.

We were sold old stock from Baby Bunting in 2012 which does not meet the Australian standard single matress size, we now havee a mattress that does not fit our bed. Not worth the money. Do not leave child unattended – Quiet disappointed with the quality of this product. I first noticed the timber is extremely soft when putting this together. While tightening the bolts and screws they were embedding into the timber yet not feeling tight enough. (Tje unit has always wobbled) The timber also marks easily. I also believe this product is completely unsafe. My 15 month old son pulled the complete side draw off onto himself. Nothing to secure the draws to the unit, completely ridiculous. I find it hard to believe this meets Australian Safety standards.

Eventually when the problem couldn't be resolved, they eventually sent us an entirely new cot by courier, and sent another rep to fully assemble it and take the old one away. contacted Grotime regarding these issues & they have been of no help, promising to call back numerous times but failing to return promised calls even once! All in all i'd suggest buying from a company who value their customers, its benn over 3weeks since i got my cot & its still sitting in pieces in my sons room as i can't put it together until they replace the damaged items (but it seems they have no intention of sorting these issues out? ) the fact it turns into a single bed with bedside drawers extremely over priced for such inferior quality! child's needs for many years in a multitude of ways to come . Style, design, multiple uses over a child's early years - easy to assemble, even for a banker ! All good - you can always say cost but in reality, meets needs for the next 5-7 years so can't argue with that.
