Really surprised to find any bad reviews. Maybe the newer ones are not as good, or a couple of people got damaged/knock off ones, not directly from the company? We’ve had ours for 9/7 years, (we have two beds). We have used them from when my girls were new borns and they are still using them today, almost 10 years later. As a bonus it’s good… Read more ·  1

because the cot matches the single bed too if you end with a older and younger kid sharing.

The kids jump from bed to bed every night and they are still as good as a brand new bed!

Danger cot – This cot is extremely dangerous. The fittings on the drop side do not allow the side to be operational. Its impossible to raise or lower the side. I bought 2 of these and they are going back. Disgraceful that this is considered a safe product for babies. Do better! Show details

Exceptionally poor quality - to the point I'm considering requesting a refund if it wasn't such a hard basket – Bought due to online reviews. Arrived with almost every single panel damaged. Requested the front (drop side) to be replaced as there was a evident giant dent. Communication between retailer and grotime was disappointly non-existent. Finally received replacement, to find not only was there a dent in a similar position but their sliding/locking… Read more

mechanism was snapped/broken (only realised after it was installed, and had to break it apart to get it off).

Received a 3rd replacement unit, thought everything was fine until I found another dent (albeit a much smaller one). I gave up requesting a replacement.

Zero care in packing (as it looks like the paint cracked as a result of negligence from packing).

Never again.

Great quality and value for money as it converts into a single bed – Grotime Rollover Cot (3 in 1) was purchased by us around 2012 and has been used as a cot for both of our girls. We had no issues with it and found it to be great value for money. It seems to be slightly larger than other cots which gives toddlers extra room to move around. The downside of that, of course, is that one has to be mindful of it when… Read more

buying fitted sheets and mattress protectors as some of the stuff that I bought was a bit tight or on the small side for the mattress.

We are now in the process of converting the cot into a single bed for our younger child. However, it appears that the conversion kit that came with the cot 5 years ago is too short to fit an Australian single size mattress. I contacted the customer service which was very helpful and efficient. They explained to me that the standard for a single bed was changed around 2010 and that I must have bought the older and shorter conversion kit. They will also send me new, longer bed rails free of charge which is great. Thank you for your great customer service, Angela @ Grocorp Australia!

Good cot but could be better – We've been using this cot for around a year now. Our daughter has been sleeping in it from about 5 months old. The mattress position can be adjusted up and down to allow for age of child. It's a nice, sturdy and comfy cot, we got a latex mattress for it (separately) and our bub loves sleeping in it. The side comes down allowing easy access. We… Read more

have it in white, it's painted in Twopac type of paint so looks really nice.

When our daughter was teething she nibbled her way around the cot rail and the sides, and the paint came away reasonably easily which is not great. We bought a separate plastic piece to cover the cot rail, but she still managed to bite the sides of the cot and chip some paint off.

Unfortunately, after a only few months, the mechanism that allows the side to be lowered, has become quite sticky and difficult to use. I called Grotime on the number provided on the packaging and left a message, but had no response - which is quite disappointing considering it's a premium product.

Overall it's a good product and will last us for years as it can convert to toddler bed later on.

Great nursery set for baby to older child – We purchased the Rollover cot, Kimberly change table drawers, bedside table and the drawer/bookcase for our son in 2010. We were drawn to this model of cot as it converts from cot to toddler bed to full sized single bed, therefore alleviating the need to purchase another bed when the time came and justifying the slightly higher initial expense. … Read more

The nursery set has also been used for my daughter, who will now inherit it as her bedroom suite. The only issues we have had with the cot were the sliding side - it was very noisy, required two hand operation and we had to rebuild the cot several times as the side fell out of the sliding mechanism rendering it stuck in the up position, and as it was purchased in 2010 the Australian single bed size had changed therefore meaning the side rails we had were too small. Grotime were very understanding when contacted regarding this issue, explained the situation and offered to send out, free of charge, the new longer single bed conversion rails. Although we had some issues, I would thoroughly recommend this cot and matching nursery set and I would hope that some improvements have been make to new models to alleviate some of these issues.

A great cot – The rollover cot has been a excellent cot for both my children. From very young ages of only a few months old, right through to 4 years, the cot has grown and adapted to each stage with ease. Upon recently discovering that the single bed conversion kit we purchased several years ago doesn’t fit current Australian standard mattress sizes, the company happily agreed to replace them free-of-charge. Great customer service.

Does not get better than this – I love the rollover. Super safe and comfortable for my daughter. Well actually both my daughters have used it. I also purchased the conversion kid and my youngest is still in the single bed. Highly recommended. I would also like to say that the customer service from Grow time is amazing.

Grotime cot – I purchased our grotime in 2011. We have watched our son grow in the cot and the bed change with him. We are now at the stage where it turns into a single bed and we'll get another 10 years or so out of it. Looking forward to watching our son grow in the bed. The support beams were not the right length but are getting posted out to me.

Sturdy – We liked the sturdiness of the cot and its contemporary look. However, it took my husband some time to assemble it and we had problems with assembling the rail that slides up & down. Once as a toddler bed we had no problems . We are now awaiting a new single bed extension from the company as the one we have is the smaller size. Sturdy and nice… Read more

bad first impressions last – Not sure why this product has gets great reviews. It looks sturdy enough once complete, but you will get flatpack boxes of bits and pieces to assemble and good luck with that.. So far: 1. Cot: brackets shown in manual was incorrect against what was in the box.. I inserted it one way, then had to rework it (by unscrewing things and destroying the… Read more

'head thread' shape). God help me when we make this thing a single bed. (Side note; Bet this company relies on never being able to extend the product life so you never need to road test how dodgy the single bed is) .. ALSO, the darn drop side does not work! ALSO ALSO , the finish is fine bone china.. It scratches way too easily (on walnut) - it is actaully a joke.. (NOTE: price considerations factored in, its still laughable)... 2. Cot drawer box opened - no MANUAL inside.. Went to website and cannot find this species of manual online.. SO, in short no QA at the factory and NO QA on website.. Seems like a marketing driven company to me.. trust this for my baby?.

Additionally, i have so far put 3 calls into the helpdesk number on the box - not manned and no response to this point (note: granted its been an hour or so).. unimpressed nothing so far per review. bad manual, bad website, bad customer service

Good quality cot, converts to 'junior bed' and single bed – We have had great value from the Grotime Rollover. Originally purchased in 2010, the larger size has stood the test of time as has the paintwork and general look and feel. We have been able to graduate through the standard cot stages to a 'toddler bed' with three sides & about to move on to the final 'single bed' stage. We also made good use of the stow-under storage option, storing bedding and nappies.

Belrose Super Center – We visited the Boori shop in Belrose Super Center and were greatly impressed by Bianca's attention to our questions and her knowledge of the products that we were interested in. We will be back in a few weeks to purchase a couple of items. We were very impressed by the quality and design of your products.

Good solid cot – This is a good solid cot, larger and heavier than average with a high quality paint finish. I have used this cot for my child for many years and love the Rollover concept of being able to convert a cot into a single bed. It would of been even better if they had included the plastic teething rail protectors. One other minor issue is the floor protectors/ legs stickers could of been done much better by using screw on plastic legs.

Solid timeless cot that can extend to full single bed – Our cot was purchased in 2012. Definitely has stood the test of time as it still looks great today. Excellent cot (now bed) and great support – We have this cot since 2011, used by our 2 girls and now by the eldest as a single bed. Durable product, survived 5+ years, 3 moves and 2 active girls. Grotime offered to send us free conversion kit as original one is not compatible with new single bed size.

Great Solid Cot – We purchased the rollover cot in 2010 and it has been very solid throughout. We have just had to convert from toddler bed to single bed size and on calling the company it was explained that single bed sizes change around 2011 and therefore it is too short. No problem with them as they will send us new bed rails free of charge to fit current single mattress size. Great service.

High quality product and excellent value for money – We had purchased two rollover cots in 2010 and found it to be excellent quality product that was value for money. Great cot – This is a wonderful cot but we bought it in 2011 - as a converted single bed it didn't fit the new mattress sizes but Grotime will send out a new base to fit the new mattress size which is fantastic customer service! Thank you Grotime. I'm very happy that you are happy to help me.

We loved it so we bought two! – We bought the rollover for our first child. Two years later we had twins so bought another of the same. Now that the twins are ready for a big bed, our rollover cots are able to be transformed into full single sized beds. We've had 4.5 years of use from the first one and 3 years from the second purchase. Still another few years of use as… Read more

Great quality cot and bed – We bought this cot just before our first child was born back in 2008. Now that our 3rd child no longer needs to be in a cot, we've converted the cot to a single bed with the kit. The Rollover is made to a very high standard of quality - it has to to survive our 3 kids! Fantastic quality and design – One of the biggest concerns when having a child is always money and getting the best value when you purchase an item. With this in mind we purchased the Rollover Cot because the one piece of furniture will be with our son from when he's born to his teenage years. He initially started in the bassinet that sat across the cot rails, then moved into… Read more

the cot, then the day bed and he is now ready for the single bed. Not only is the Rollover cots functionality a wonderful feature but it's design is simple and stylish and will fit in with the decor of our son's bedroom as it changes and he gets older. I also have to mention that at times when our son comes into our bed I more often than not find my self sleeping in his bed and aside from the length being too short, I find the bed quite comfortable to sleep in.

Great cot/toddler bed – We bought two Rollover cots for our kids (twins). They shared one cot for nearly six months before moving into their own cot and then daybed. Love this bed – We have bought 2 Rollover cots for or kids, they have been great in the cot and daybed stages and now in the single beds they are looking stylish and I expect the kids to enjoy them for many years to come. Easy to assemble and convert at the different stage.

Great cot, outlived 2 kids so far! – We can highly recommend the grotime rollover cot. Solid, well made, good looking piece of nursery furniture. We have used it for 2 kids (so far) and apart from some cosmetic blemishes, it is still performing as new. It's not the cheapest cot out there but definitely worth investing in a great cot, its where your little one spends a lot of time so… Read more

Fantastic cot/single bed – We purchased a Grotime rollover 5 in 1 for our daughter in 2012. Beautiful and functional baby furniture – I purchased the grotime rollover cot, the carinda tall boy and matching change table for my daughter nearly 4 years ago.
