False economy – This is the worst brand I have ever bought. It never cleaned very well. The washer tab dispenser never opened. It was noisy. Moreover, the dishwasher has just stopped working 2 weeks after the 2 year warranty has expired. I also had a Haier fridge freezer that got exchanged 3 times due to faults resulting in the loss of hundreds of $ worth of… Read more

food. In the end I got store credit to buy a better brand. Wish I had bought a brand that would last. If you can't afford a better brand I would recommend getting a second hand better brand. Steer clear is my recommendation.

Helpful tip – Thought Id bought a baby dishwasher until I read these. Adjust the top rack higher so that the plates fit in and the soap dispenser opens! Would have helped if the Harvey Norman installer had done this or told me about it maybe? Show details

Love this dishwasher – Really surprised to read previous reviews about the Haier HDW13G1X. I have had this dishwasher for a year now and it has not skipped a beat. Easy to stack lots of room for plates, even pots and pans fit easily in the bottom rack. The top rack is so delicate with my wine glasses. Very impressed how clean and pristine my dishes come out so clean!. I… Read more

have no complaints about this dishwasher and wouldnt hesitate to purchase the same one again. Cons.. the tablet dispenser didnt flip open from day 1. Customer service were useless in giving me a solution other than to just toss the tablet on the bottom shelf. This does work and I think better than if it flipped out. I have never had a dirty dish come out from using this dishwasher. I dont even rinse plates before I put in. I have never had this dishwasher clog. The control panel is easy to use with lots of different time settings ranging from 20min to 256 being the longest. I put it on a delay cycle to wash overnight.I have no regrets with this purchase. I recommend it

Pretty good! Does the job! – The dishwasher has 3 main settings for cleaning, (the rest are rinsing, glass, etc. cycles). The shortest cycle is 90 minutes, the long cycle is 120 minutes and the Auto cycle is 136 mins. We generally clean all food scraps off before we put it into the dishwasher, otherwise it can build up at the bottom where the filter for the water outlet.… Read more

When this happens, we just wipe down the top.

Large dinner plates (~27cm) will fit only at certain angles. And you're limited to maybe 10 large plates? Plenty of room for everything else.

Otherwise happy with results.

Stop saying the lower basket won't fit regular size dishes, it has a HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE UPPER BASKET – Read the instruction before you use it, that's all I can say. Don't blame the product if you don't know how to use it. The upper basket can be lifted all the way to the top. Just bought a HDW15G1W model which has a cutlery tray on the top, very happy.  Show details

Good product – Pros: This dishwasher has a top tray for cutlery. Which I really love. Saves a lot of space in the bottom rack. Top rack is adjustable. Which is very practical. The dishwasher works very well over all. The dishes are clean. But not 100% dry. But they’re pretty dry-ish. It doesn’t bother me. Cons: I hateeeee the touch panel of this dishwasher.… Read more

When we first bought it, it wasn’t working atall. So the customer service replaced it with a new panel. It worked fine for few months but again some buttons got inactive on touch screen. They weren’t working again. We again complained and they again replaced it. Right now it’s working fine. But it’s very hard to access some options that you can only access by pressing ON/OFF button and OPTION button. Which I never can. I want to turn the machine to silent but I can’t Cz it’s impossible to access those options by pressing these 2 buttons simultaneously.

The customer service was superb. They listened every time we had an issue and got it fixed in no time.

Complete useless and waste of money and time – Purchased this produce less than 3 months ago. After 4 uses had a service person from fisher and Paykel out to it to fix an error code F30. He claimed it was a hose from the tap incorrectly fitted. Two washes later and the machine won’t operate again it’s error code F30. Again waiting on fisher and paykel to come out to it. Now you would think I… Read more

could easily organise a refund for a clearly faulty product. But no I’m be mucked around by fisher and paykel customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY buying this machine. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Don’t purchase – Don’t purchase! Due to the poor design of detergent dispenser the flap will not open and disperse if you have dinner plates, boards, bowls sitting in left side bottom tray as the dispenser flap is spring loaded and goes to open on cycle but can’t due to general obstacles in its way. Poor poor design. Show details

Design flaws – Upper rack is adjustable to allow for bigger plates in bottom rack Design of upper rack does not lend itself to stacking of cups and mugs to maximise space use Spikes in lower basket do not collapse. Design of lower rack does not allow for pots. Spikes therefor bend out of shape when placing pots or pans in lower rack. Programs are long with… Read more

plenty to choose from. Love the fact the power button must be held on for a few seconds to activate power, stops little kids from turning it on and off.

Barely does its job and has many annoyances – Doesn't completely dry. The buttons are very sensitive, so you keep unintentionally hitting them with your hips when working in the kitchen counter. Very annoying as it pauses or cancel cycles or unintentionally turns it on. The detergent compartment keeps failing to open, regardless if you use powder or gel. We many times refrain from using it and just hand wash, as it's so unpractical.  Show details

Just doesn't do a good job – This dishwasher takes a long time to wash the dishes, sometimes 2 hour and 20 minutes. if you have smelly foods such as eggs or fish the smells seem to linger after the wash is complete. The roomy look is misleading; the prongs are fixed and I can't put many bowls in it , it's designed for flat plates, putting pots into it is near impossible… Read more

because you cant take out the prongs to get a flat level surface. The rinse aid isn't adjustable and it takes a lot of rinse aid to fill it. Often times I have to rinse the plates before putting them into the dishwasher to obtain a good result and I need to scrub off things like cream cheese or butter off the knives and spoons otherwise these food get baked on and need to be rewashed in the sink. The touch control setting is delayed and only move one way, so if you miss the setting you want you have to press forward arrow again and again to reach the desired setting so its best to press and wait press and wait so you don't bypass the setting you need.

Ok, but our 15year old dishwasher was better – Arms/racks are too narrow. We can only fit plates and saucers. Seriously, if you have bowls..you wont be able to use the lower rack as they are positioned too close to each other. I tried to use the top rack, and leaves me no place for other items. The dishwasher look roomy inside, but dont be mislead, as somehow..you can only fit a few (which is… Read more

Rusted racks – Bottom rack rusted out. $150 for replacement. Washes well - tricky to load. Long utensils can block detergent flap. Touch panel hard to use. Set child lock or risk changing program.

Cheap materials – We had purchased a dishwasher on 7feb2017 and now we are noticing there is rust on the tray and due to the rust the tray is breaking. I am quite displeased with this purchase as you do not expect a stainless steel product to get rusted and I feel this was a manufacturers defect and we are copping it. Show details

It's ok, My old Volcan was heaps better! – This is a pretty basic machine without many features. I find that it does get clogged very easy and we have to run a cleaner through it after 5 or more washes as it leaves spots on dishes even though we use finish rinse aid and finish quantum tablets. We have had the control board replaced as it was not drying dishes which it still is not and… Read more

honestly I was really disappointed. I should have kept my 15-year-old volcan as it would dry the dishes and never left spots. I mean yes this dishwasher works but the spots it leaves, even though we open the door as soon as the machine beeps is just incredible. I also want to point out that there are only 2 adults in this house so it really doesn't get used that often so it should perform a lot better then it does. I know the volcan that was in this house used to service a family of 5 and often was used twice a day. What I should have done was put the money toward getting the old one rebuilt!

Unsatisfied – First cycle 2 days old, and i get an E30 come up and have to contact service centre to rectify. No way of resetting myself. Am advised if it is an installation fault i have to pay $148 and be available for a 5 hour window. I work. So am wondering if every time something minor happens i will have to get a technician to come and fix it. I would NOT recommend buying this product.  Show details

Wished I’d known a few things before purchase – My dinner plates stop the rotar from spinning and the tablet dispenser is easily blocked through a normal every day cycle. A pot or chopping board for example will prevent the tablet case opening. Frustrated at how poorly designed this unit is. It does wash well though when big items as mentioned above, are taken out.  Show details

The internal space is too small even for regular sized dinner plates – Don't fall for the price. What is the purpose of dishwasher if you cant wash regular dinner plates. The spikes are fixed in the lower tray which doesn't allow to even use the space properly with other utensils. Its more like you still have to hand wash quite a load. Expect cheap quality from cheap appliance.  Show details

Does its job – This dishwasher cleans very well. The control panel is easy to use and see. I like its LED screen and time display. It’s also pretty quiet when it’s in use. The only downside is its rack design. It’s oddly designed and sometimes it’s tricky to load up dishes, mugs and cups in particular. The upper rack isn’t well designed.  Show details

Good dishwasher – Cleans the dishes well. I have not had any problems with this dishwasher. Like any dishwasher you need to regularly clean the filter and with Adelaide water run a cleaner through it. I found that the cheap dish washer tablets did not seem to clean as well as the top of the range and the controls need some getting used to but overall I would recommend this dishwasher as working well and good value for money  Show details

Good cheap dishwasher – Good low cast dishwasher that is a Chineese made but the service is followed up by Fisher and Paykel. It washers well and not too noisy. We are in a rental property and I know a lot of landlords who install them in their property. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an all round good value dishwasher.  Show details

Works well – This dishwasher cleans and dries the dishes well IF you use rinse aid and regularly run a cleaner through it. The filter in the bottom gets disgustingly dirty regularly and it is an awful job to clean. The eco cycle feels like it goes forever (2hrs 54mins) and we've had better results by using the pots cycle which is a bit quicker. Not too loud although the final beeping is super loud!  Show details

A well thought out dishwasher – I like this dishwasher. It looks nice and streamlined on the outside and has roomy interior with plenty of space for bigger plates as well as pots etc. Glasses come out clean so does the cutlery and offcourse the other items. Pretty quiet when it runs. The only negative for me is the cutlery basket, I prefer the tray but of course that's a personal preference. All in all a big thumbs up  Show details

Brilliant dishwasher – This dishwasher has a modern and stylish design and is very quiet. A good price, water consumption is reasonable. Good – Honestly I was sceptical of buying a brand I didn't know. Boy was I wrong. Firstly, the price was fantastic (previously had an expensive miele) so big win there.
