Haier HWFS95N (9.5kg)
MPNs: HWFS95NB1 and HWFS95NW11 review
I just installed my new Haier 9.5 front loader. Installation is OK. I tested the machine with first wash and all went ok. I tried the remote access to connect to my home WiFi. This is where the problem started. There is basically nothing in the user manual on how to connect. I did some research and I need to install SmartHQ app in my phone. Again nothing in the user guide. I installed the app and registered with userid. When I tried to add the washing machine it requested product id and serial number. This where the problem started. The attached labels in the machine have no product id and has a long (more than 9 char) serial number. At bottom of the label id there is a EAN Code, god knows the use of it. There is also a 'Your Connected Appliance' label stuck on the inside of the machine which has different model number, UID, Mac id etc, none of them useful. The app kept indicating that there should be 'Password' associated to machine network id that starts with 'GE...'. Nothing on the label. I finally contacted Haier support and a nice young man responded after I went through a robot. After giving him the Model id and the Serial number, he provided the correct product id and abbreviated serial number – the first 9 char of the serial number. This information should have been printed in the machine label. I entered these two and wow, I managed to connect to the machine via bluetooth and then to my home wifi network. Total lack of information in the user manual and inadequate labels stuck to the machine. I finally thanked the young man from support.
