Protective cover for control panel is lifting and all the buttons are cracking – Washing is fine, and the tangle of clothes cannot be avoided as all machines have done that. The fact that the protective cover is lifting and the buttons are cracking, plus now is adding a repeat rinse cycle at the end of the wash is disappointing. If I knew it was a Fisher and Pykel, I would not have bought it. Used to be a great brand, but… Read more
have not improved since the last time I bought a Fisher and Pykel. No wonder they have changed the name. Overall the machine worked fine for the short time I have had it, Just amazing how things fall apart after the warranty is over, and will not by parts for it to have it happen again. I will keep my eyes out for the most trusted machine I have ever had which was a Simpson Wringer.
I found the lint filters! – I originally left a 3 star and negative review for this machine as it was leaving lint all over my clothes. Since then I have located the 2 lint filters in the barrel, which were absolutely full. The instructions to clean the filters are in the back of the user manual, no pictures, under 'Cleaning and Maintenance'. This information should also… Read more
appear in the beginning somewhere and in the troubleshooting section. It is not ideal for doonas though (and some bed sheets) as the outer fabric tends to billow upward and out of the water. The machine is easy to use and has plenty of cycle options.
Disappointing. Do not buy – Bought this new machine when we moved into the new house. Straight out of the box worked fine for a year or so. Then it started to get unbalanced when it washes and dance around the laundry room. Despite these little quirks, washed fine for the most part but then suddenly kept getting e1 for every load and was unable to drain. Perhaps I expect too… Read more
much for a washing machine to function for more than 3 years? My last Samsung one literally worked for like 13 years flawlessly before I just threw it out when I moved house. Very disappointed in the brand and will not buy again.
Spin Cycle terrible – The spin cycle no good at all, and I am not happy at the sales pitch from Harvey Normans. Clothes come out wet, very disappointing. Not even a load of small works, can't recommend this product. Show details
Horribly disappointing, would love a refund – Several things wrong with this machine: - Hottest setting is max 50 degrees, so really not hot enough at all - in fact useless for cloth nappies or hygienic cycles - Always goes out of balance, which is super frustrating. Forget washing a full load of towels together. You'll be readjusting that load several times in the one cycle - Clothes end up… Read more
knotted and tangled. Again super frustrating and time consuming - Clothes don't seem very dry after spin. I understand it's the low spin speed... another useless feature. - Super noisy machine, especially because of its constant unbalancing
All in all I would never recommend or buy another one. In fact all Haier products seem to be crap. We had a haier fridge and don't even get me started on the amount of issues we had with it. Do yourself a favour and spend your $$ on absolutely anything else.
I would desperately love a refund so if anyone from Haier actually reads this please get in contact
Knotted Washing – This washing machine promises to be a 10 kg capacity washing, but the Queen size didn't fit any better into this this machine than my previous 7.5kg machine. A large load of mixed clothing (mainly cotton) ends up being twisted into a knot on the cotton wash cotton. I tried a similar load of clothing on the wool cycle, and the clothes were… Read more
similarly tied up into a knot. Time consuming untwisting the clothes. Because the clothes are tied into a knot they are not being agitated to wash clean. Nothing seems to come out of the wash as clean as my previous machine washed.
The fill for a warm wash has the hot water run in, and then the cold, it does not mix the hot and cold water together to produce warm water, this method of filling is creating a drum in the hot water pipe.
I would not recommend this machine my clothes are getting twisted knots, and not washing clean.
Leaves cloths very wet with only 650rpm. Do not buy – If you want very wet cloths after max spin then buy this machine. Most machines are 900rpm but this one is only 650rpm. Do not buy!!!! I was never told this leaves the cloths very wet when buying this machine. Show details
Does the job, with a few quirks – OK this machine is very average. It does the job, it cleans, sort of. A few points i don't like about the machine, * Heavy lid occasionally comes down and hits you in the head lol * Anything heavy has to be spun twice, first time never spins dry enough. * Because it doesn't have an agitator, blankets and large items mushroom and at the end of the… Read more
wash leaves a big round dirty spot on top of said large item. Very bad design flaw. * As with many other washers it goes out of balance now and then, beeps until restart. * Wash cycles seem to last a lot longer than the time displayed. * Doesn't seem to get rid of foreign object and lint catcher is very average.
Very impressed – Very quiet, easy to use, cleans very efficiently. I like all the programmes and the ease of adjusting to what I need.I am 73 and have used quite a few machines in my life both top and front loaders, some very expensive.I would rate this one as one of my favourites Show details
Don't buy one! – First time used out of balance all the time, checked level it was fine. Could not get clothes to spin out. Tied knots in the clothes. Just horrible. Took it back Harvey Norman Maitland was fantastic. Store credit and bought a better washing machine. It was very disappointing. Also check the other reviews out. Show details
Early days – Only 2 weeks old but so far i have liked the quickness of the cycle. Cleans clothes perfect. Very quite machine. Happy at this stage. I like how easy it is to use compared to more expensive brands. I bought a cheap machine with 6 years warranty from harvey norman. Show details
Big in washload, small in foot print. Perfect for lots of washing and little space! – Living in a block of units we needed to update my partner's 13 year old, noisy washing machine of only 6kgs. She started looking for new 6 kilo washers. I asked her if that was the biggest washer she wanted, she said she would love a bigger one, but the space was limited. I measured and started looking for washing machines to fit nothing more than… Read more
a 60 x 60cm space. We found about 7, and it was a race between the Haier range and a few of the Fisher & Paykel machines at not much more than $600. The Haier range didn't have an agitator and the rpm of the motors were much less than the F&P, but they were all much cheaper. So after going to 3 stores to check them out, it was a matter of pay for a 7kg F&P or a 9-10kg Haier for the same price or cheaper. The 10kg wasn't even in the running when we started. We went to JB Hi-Fi and they happened to have a sale on. The 10kg Haier was going to be cheaper than the 9kg, but slightly bigger than the 60x60cm we had measured. So after rechecking the measurements we bought the 10kg Haier. It was delivered with no hassles. We might have to replace the drier now, it is noisier than the washer! So now we can wash at any time of the day or night. It has many wash settings so it can wash for as long as you want it to. Its easy to use, has a big display showing the time remaining. The top loading makes it easy to use, no agitator means you can wash more clothes and larger items, and the Fuzzy logic feature determines the water required. The filter is very easy to clean.
