Im disapointed with my Haier top loader washing machine 8kg, model -HWT08AN1, 12 months old because I can't use spin only cycle and their is nothing related to how to use it is in the Haier user manual. I ve watched dozens of uTube videos but most are not in english or are not unrelated to using spin only. I do know my 12 months old washer is capable to do a spin only because just two days after my washing machine was installed a Haier serviceman came out. He demonstrated to me how to do a spin only cycle. However it was a super quick callout and I think it was a case of information overload because when I attempted to use spin only I was not able to and I am still not able to hand wash an item then do a quick spin in my machine. Sell it or dump it and get yourself a new machine. Anything but a Haier. They are cheap rubbish. Only good for a boat anchor.
I have just bought (27/8/22) a Haier HWT10MW1 model for an astounding $600 and now have just learnt that it is discontinued. Can you still get user manual for it?

My machine won’t drain the water out after a wash ?
This machine is always going out of balance and when it stops it automatically starts the whole cycle again it’s infuriating- Makes no difference if 1 towel or a normal wash - I cannot walk away I may as well have a twin tub . Any ideas - yes it’s leval

How can I make my Haier 8kg top loader spin more. The clothes are all so wet! So annoyed. Also what is the best setting for heavily soiled clothing? It doesn't have an option for that. I've had this machine for 5 days and I wish I had bought something else. Very disappointed.
What does the error code E3 mean ? This machine often refills to try to balance loads, (a nuisance when short of water and time) but now it wont spin with any load in it and has error. can we fix this ourselves?
I feel your pain. I turn the machine off, redistribute the load,turn the power back on & use the progress button to skip thru the cycle.Sometimes instead of going thru the long rinse cycle, when it has over balanced I will fill it on wash, let it go for a few minutes, press pause & then skip to spin. Really great for an automatic machine.

Try switching off machine and start cycle again. Set the outlet hose that goes into drain a bit higher. I think it may be because the water goes out of the machine faster than it can go down the drain and thus comes back into the machine. Hope this works for you.
It certainly is not the best machine I have had. Spinning of towels is very poor -even 2 lots of 7 minuute spins does not spin them dry enough - not a problem in this really hot weather but not looking forward to the winter. Also towels with high level water chosen and 7 minute spin seems to take over 100 minutes even if machine says about 60 minutes.
I find when the machine chooses its own water level , it is too low. I always stop the machine and check the clothes are well covered with water.
It's not a machine I would recommend to anyone.
I haven't had that trouble myself, but it doesn’t like heavy loads and gets out of balance very easily, also where soap powder goes it leaves water from last wash and you have to empty it, before you start, not the best machine I have bought but washes ok

The manual does not cover all the basics.example I would like to wash an item by hand then do a gentle spin cycle . Most uTube videos on help advice are not in English. 12 months later and I still can't work it out!

How do you just do a spin or rinse/spin I have rung Haier and they don’t know either and are supposed to be getting back to me... nothing yet
Hi, unfortunately, we have also found that there is no spin or rinse/spin option. Very disappointed with our decision to purchase this model Haier washing machine. :-(
I've just had an answer and apparently you use the progress button !!! You cancel out the wash part and just do the rest.... well I never it's not in the book
yes that is all you do, but you also need to pause the machine before you can use the progress button.
Thank you Nitrocil and Maureen for your input because my wife had the same problem and through your advise discovered how to find the spin alone cycle. It's crazy how it's not in the operating manual.

Haier sell products in English speaking countries but the English speaking customers are at a disadvantage therefore I have decided not to buy a Haier Fridge as I had intended .Haier support for my washing machine via every option has been poor Lyn. If it the same as mine model HWT08NI1 It does do it ! I had a serviceman out and he did it for me however I didn't attempt it for weeks and I have not been able to do it for a year now and I'm frustrated, I can't get an answers from help manual or online uTube videos.
why is this machine always out of balance no matter how careful when loading?
I don't exactly know. We have experienced this too. I think the motor spinning the clothes is strong and the weight of the machine is not heavy enough to hold it. The auto balance function should kick in, sometimes not fast enough. Hope this helps
I really have no idea. The problem is usually solved by adjusting the legs under the front of the machine however in this case it hasn't helped at all. It is most frustrating as I end up having to hang the towels out dripping wet which doesn't do wonders for my back! Sorry I can't help. Perhaps Leeaqaurius 73 has the correct anwer.
