Tyres worn out in a year during COVID Pandemic – Bought 4 of these tyres exactly 1 year ago for a Kia Carnival which my wife used to drive kids to school and back. Carnival cannot pass rego check (Pink Slip) because the tyres are worn out. The school is a 7km drive (google maps) from home and tyres are already worn out in a year?! Show details

Both Prime 2 and Prime 3 make me fear for my life – Dry performance is okay-ish, but wet weather? Forget it, it feels like I'm on ice. These cost way too much for how they perform, I want my money back. It might also just be my bad luck, but I've already had to replace one tyre due to a puncture. Can't wait to get rid of these. Show details

Never buy rubbish – Never ever buy these tyres for you vehicle, worst safety and hard earned cash investment ever made, Less than 150000 klms and ready for the Tyre mulcher. I'm a conservative driver, check my tyre pressures every fortnight as i use my car for work purposes. Show details

Terrible Tyres – I recently purchased a Ford Focus Active 19.75 with 5.5k on the clock, shod with Hankook Ventus Prime 3, 215/55/17 (made in Hungary, not Korea). After test drive, sales person agreed to wheel alignment which was written on the contract of sale. Car appeared to wander at speeds above 80 km/h and steering was not tracking/handling like previous… Read more

vehicle with German made Continentals. Driving home post-purchase, obvious the W/A had not been done but too far to drive back. Tried adjusting tyre pressures to no avail. Jax North Lakes later checked and said all 4 corners were out so I paid $69 to rectify. Improvement overall, but still tramlining and not tracking correctly when cornering over 80 km/h. Are Hungarian-made Hankooks inferior to Korean-made or is this car a lemon (LOTS of minor faults in this car!) Friend suggested that Ford may have successfully trialled with Koreans then bulk ordered, receiving inferior Hungarians.

These tyres are so noisey that I thought I was in a jet! – I have had these for around 1000 km and the road noise on these tyres is driving me batty! Any speed over 80kph and the loud drone kicks in. Considering the high amount of highway driving that I do these are the worst!! Show details

Hankook makes good tyres – I always buy Korean tyres like Hankook for my Hyundai I30. It lasts long and can run heaps of mileage, less road noise and good value for the money. My next tyres will be Hankook again. Thanks Show details

Very good value tyre, excellent grip and long wearing – these were standard on our 2013 Santa Fe, they lasted 75,000km. Second set in and they have lasted 70,000 and will be purchasing these again Couldn't be happier with these tyres, grumpy in wet and dry, can't.xomment to much on noise as diesel engine drowns it out. Good value and all round tyre, pardon the pun Show details

Fabulous tyre for the price – Purchased just over 12 months and 22500KLM ago. Great handling tyre in diverse road surfaces and weather conditions. Not the quietest tyre on coarse road surfaces but makes up for under braking and handling in heavy rain. Did a lot of research on tyres and somewhat confused myself and wound up ordering the wrong Hankook model. They were both the… Read more

same price and had the same wear factor but the ones I meant to purchase were rated as a more eco and quiet tyre. That being said, I am satisfied with my purchase but lament my mistake for the road noise level as indicated above.

Perfect balance of performance and price – I recently replaced four Nexen tyres on my 2013 Kia Sorento SLi with four Hankook Ventus Prime 2 tyres. These are an exceptional tyre for the money. They grip really well in the wet and the dry and are significantly quieter than the Nexens. I'm hoping I get similar wear from these as the Nexens - which was 50,000 kms.  Show details
