Hard Hat Smartwatch

I’ve just purchased the Hardhat tradies Smart watch Now in regretting it . For this reason . After researching where this watch is sent from ,I’ve learned that the company in Chullora is a Drop Shop company from china . It uses Union Lucky in Chullora to sell multiple products .I believe the Gold Coast family in the Facebook advert is false , they have cleverly created a false impression that these watches are the bees knees of tradie watches .Sold by an Australian family company from the Gold Coast But in fact it’s just a cheap Chinese import , Blackwell smart watch sells similar watch for $70 .ive seen similar for $40 on Temu . This is a Scam . DO NOT BUY Hardhat watch , do your homework and research this product , I purchased based on the Facebook advertising , but on reading reviews later found out the 90 day refund is hard to obtain ,many dissatisfied buyers of Hardhat watch’s It’s too late for me and will just bare the cost and write of as lesson learnt . There is an address of the family supposedly involved in this business at 19 Wille Court ormeau Queensland . If this family were upfront why use a Dropship company in Chullora ???? Anyway to finish , I’ve learnt now , to read reviews , research research research before buying anything of the internet .
Purchased in for $139.
I don’t usually write reviews this scathing, but after dropping hard-earned money on the Foreman Hard Hat Watch, I feel it’s my civic duty to warn others. This isn't just a "budget" tech issue; this is a total failure of a product masquerading as "rugged" gear. The "Smart" Features are a Joke For a watch marketed at professionals, it fails the most basic functional tests:
Health Tracking: The heart rate monitor is a work of fiction. It doesn't track "properly"—it essentially guesses, or more often, just gives up.
Constant Freezing: The interface is incredibly unstable. The watch stops responding so often that I’ve spent more time restarting it than actually using it.
Connectivity Chaos: I don't receive calls half the time. When I do, the sound quality is so low it sounds like I'm listening through a tin can underwater.
Broken Notifications: Messages work when they feel like it, and Facebook notifications are a total roll of the dice.
Bluetooth Ghosting: Even with the setting turned off, the watch randomly hijacks my phone’s audio. It’s infuriating.
The "Support" Experience I use the term "support" very loosely here. When I reached out to report these blatant defects, the response was basically: "The watch doesn't keep up with new technology, so bad luck." Are you kidding me? If the hardware can't support the software it’s sold with, don't sell it. ### The "Discount" Trap Don't be fooled by the price tag. I thought I was getting a deal—a $400 watch reduced to $200. The truth is, that "sale" price never changes because it was never worth $400 to begin with. In fact, it’s not even worth the $200.
The Bottom Line: I essentially paid $200 for a glorified paperweight that sometimes tells me the time and occasionally works. If you want a watch for the job site, buy a Casio and save yourself the headache. This Foreman watch is an overpriced, outdated piece of junk.
Avoid at all costs.
Purchased for $200.
I bought this watch for its long battery life and simple functions. I only wanted it to track my heart rate and input movement data into an app that links with my gym. At first it all worked easily, synced up well. But less than 90 days in and the watch start change screens with a mind of its own. Then the screen went dark and it would not charge. Emailed their support and sent photos and they said would send a 2nd watch. I received the second watch and all setup but with a few week the same issue, screen dead and unfunctional. So I followed up Hard Hat, after Facebook messaging and emailing they proposed a 3rd watch, I was done. They did refund in full the purchase prices, but after constantly being told we didn't get your emails and can you send it again, I think others should be aware that I don't this product lives anywhere near to its name of Hard Hat. I get it could have been an isolated incident, but 2 watches in 3 months?
