Very disappointing return to Harley Davidson I’ve had Harleys since 1997 , touring bikes and happy and proud to own them, social side, accessories, clothing apparel I felt they were failing behind with technology and servicing a basic 2 cylinder motorcycle was getting rediculous I left foe 18 months and decided I wanted to go back to another… Read more
roadglide I got a great deal in December 25 and purchased from my local dealer, it comes with 2 years warranty and 1 year roadside assistance in case it’s needed 28th of January 2026 I’m out the back of Bathurst in over 40 degrees heat and my bike breaks down, it’s got 2000 klms on it I need Harley assist Bikes taken to a local dealer and I have to make my own way home after tow truck driver drops me off at Bathurst No you can’t have your bike towed to where you bought it near your house They offer you accommodation A train ticket to the value of $2000 or a rent a car to total value of $99
bike accidentMy story is that in August 2021 i had my Harley Davidson motorcycle serviced by Harley- Heaven Adelaide, motorcycle dealership where the scheduled 8000klm service which covered all aspects and controls of the motorbike are checked and tested ( arguably ) and where i asked to have a different set of Harley handlebars fitted and so… Read more
after showing these new handlebars to the service mechanic he told me these would be fine, which should have been the case as this was a common request by Harley owners. The following day i picked up my bike from H.H and noticed the indicator on the right side (throttle side) was sticking but did not think much of it at the time.I did not have a chance to ride the bike for another week when i decided to take a ride along the coast so during my ride i needed to slow down for a set of corners and to my horror found the throttle had jammed open causing my back wheel to spin throwing me off the motorcycle and according to police report sliding 90 meters along the road and placing me in hospital for 4 weeks with many serious injuries. Soon after leaving hospital i contracted a law firm to start a legal suit against H.H who had a very senior mechanical engineer to examine my bike and particularly the work done on the handle bars and found serious mistakes on connecting the throttle assembly. My lawyers arranged a meeting at their offices with lawyers for Harley-Heaven Adelaide where H.H denied all responsibility and offered me an amount barely covering the cost of the bike which considering my injuries I refused and have not had any luck with the law suit since.I am at a loss to understand how a company can injure a customer so badly with such obvious culpability and treat a long time customer with such disregard
Very, very expensive to service with very, very expensive parts. Don't bother unless you're wealthy. $850 for a service.

Gold coast harley-davidson great service – As a multiple Harley owner I have dealt with many Harley-davidson dealerships, some which are now gone. I must say Gold Coast harley-davidson has exceeded prior dealers. I have always owned older harleys because I think they are what the company was. I have had my bike serviced at Gold Coast harley-davidson and have purchased items from there.… Read more
I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. I hope they keep up the high standard as in these difficult times loyalty is a must for any company.
2021 Fatboy...Big Disappointment – I have a 2021 Fatboy which i purchased a couple years back, when i rode this bike for the first time i then decided this would be the last time..the suspension is absolute crap, has no give what so ever you can adjust the suspension but doesn't make any difference..then you get no cruise control & the handling is something to be said as well, all… Read more
in all i would never purchase a Harley Davidson again..the sort of bike you would put on a mantel piece & never ride, you spend all that money to purchase the bike then you need to spend more to change, suspension, cruise control, & list goes on..they don't even hold there value, which is why i purchased a Ducati Multistrada ..the best all round bike in my view.
Harley - Davidson rainbow worriers – Chinese made woke machines! Real men dont ride Harleys, never did. Just compensators who enjoy the company of other men more than women. The truth is finally in their rainbow faces and us real blokes on our real bikes with our women riding their real bikes certainly dont nod to the limpwrists as they go past with their pride flag!
DEI Company's like Harley make unsafe products – The clear problem with this brand is the DEI quality that has acted as a cancer to ALL Harley products. Any company that has DEI will have unsafe products just look at the latest Boeing planes.
Paul b – Be weary parting money buying a Harley Davidson they have all become UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!!
Worst service – I have a 2022 Harley Davison Fat Boy that has a dangerous steering problem that Harley won’t fix or can’t. Bike has been back to the shop 3 times spending 4 day on 1 occasion and 8 days in another shop Sunhine Coast Harley Davison. Both dealerships can’t fix the bike no one must be highly qualified to spot the problem. Manager of Morgan and Wacker… Read more
is one person I’m not very impressed with as his lack of concern and lies. Bike has been damaged before by this Morgan and Wacker by leaving brake fluid or some other product on my rims. Bike had to go back for a day to have the rims polished to remove the marks all they did was but scratch marks all through the rims. This would be one of the worst services I have ever had with close to 20 bikes over 50 years. So disappointed in Harley Davison and Morgan and Wacker $40,675 for the bike and it’s unsafe to ride. Bike gos to a independent repair next week to be assessed there test ride on this bike came back with this bike has a serious problem

UNSATISFACTORY HARLEY DAVIDSON SERVICE FROM PETER STEVENS – UNSATISFACTORY HARLEY DAVIDSON SERVICE FROM PETER STEVENS 230 Franklin Street, Adelaide PREFACE In line with a 2500 kms motorcycle ride through S.A. with three friends I booked my Harley in for a service, tune-up, complete checkover and fitting a new rear tyre on 12 October 2022. We left Adelaide 22 October for Quorn and beyond. Arriving in… Read more
Quorn I checked the rear tyre pressure which read just 12 rather than the recommended 40 on the new tyre. Clearly something was wrong. We topped it up to 40 again and then rode to Hawker. It was then down to 30 in that short ride. Consequently I took the Harley to Hawker Motors. The tube revealed a triangular tear, almost certainly caused by a tyre lever. (see picture).
I rang Harley Heaven who sent a replacement tube overnight. The tyre and tube were refitted and we continued our tour. But I lost the day’s tour to Blinman and Wilpena with my mates.
CONTACT WITH HARLEY HEAVEN ON RETURN TO ADELAIDE
I met with Peter Stevens Harley Heaven Dealer Principal [Name Removed] and reported the events. I requested as compensation:
the replacement tube to be free-of-charge - I have not been charged for it. reimbursement of $83.08 being the tube courier to Hawker plus their fitting charges and the subsequent inspection and confirmation that the rear wheel met specifications back at H.H. be free-of-charge - I have not been charged for it.
[Name Removed] approved the F.O.C. inspection. But he denied that H.H. was responsible for the tube pinch. When I asked for an alternative cause of the pinch, [Name Removed] could offer none. Its not the money that matters. In further discussions at a subsequent face-to-face meeting [Name Removed] said to me “if you don’t like it just go somewhere else”.
I left two telephone messages for [Name Removed] on Monday 14 November but have not received a call back.
I have been a loyal Harley Heaven client for 27 years. No longer.

Can’t afford to buy from Harley heaven – After years of buying products from Harley heaven in dandenong, clothing , parts, ect, I can no longer afford to purchase anything from this store because of the ridiculous prices for there items , example clothing made in India sells in this shop at an absurd price , even a cap I liked $60 no way ever again will I buy my stuff from you . And I’m… Read more
sure that their opinion is that it’s made under license and that’s why it’s soooo expensive. And I have purchased 2 bikes and thousands of dollars worth of parts doing up my bikes, and so much clothing, but I just can’t afford to purchase from them anymore ☹️

Morgan and Wacker Brisbane - Sales so Disappointing – My visit to the Morgan and Whacker Harley Davidson outlet today, in Brisbane's Newstead, was not unlike any of my previous visits over the past 8 months. Today I was wanting to view the new 2018 HD models. New, relative to when I last visited, that is. I strolled around for about half an hour, wondering why no shop assistant approached me in an… Read more
attempt to solicit money out of me. After all, there are sales to be made here ranging anything from 20K to 40K, and above! Looking across the room, the sales personnel all appeared to be very busy at their computers. I could only surmise that they were wrapping up the numerous sales of the past week and those that had already occurred this very Saturday morning. It was already 10.30 am, after all, and the shop not busy at all. So, a good time to consolidate on the Harley-Davidson boom that must be taking place at this time of the year. I did hear later, this being elsewhere, that HD sales in AU are down 20% this year. In the USA, as a matter of interest, sales are down 7.5%; apparently a serious concern to the markets.
So, eventually a salesperson ambled over, very focused on the sausage sizzle roll that he was eating. I had noticed the stand outside, not having had any breakfast, and was certainly tempted myself. Possibly explains the number of patrons outside the shop, and the lack of customers that I could see inside buying new motorcycles. Well, lets face it, a sausage sizzle is a lot cheaper!
I told him that I was interested in the new HD Fat-Boy. It really is a beautiful piece of machinery, especially the semi-custom version the I was looking at. Now here the challenge continued. I must give him credit; as I tried to conduct a discussion with a man whose primeval concern at this point was his nutritional survival , I marvelled at his ability not to drop any of his nutriment from his mouth as he provided the occasional information between bites of his morning meal. He really did not drop any bits from his mouth! As much as this may have impressed me, I was not feeling the urge to dispose of a potential $38K for the motorcycle he was having breakfast over, and so gracefully left, glancing across at the sausage sizzle stand, but feeling very put-off at this point.
An obvious concern here is that if it is this hard to buy a motorcycle from this organisation, imagine what would happen if one had a problem after the sale that needed to be resolved. On an item that costs more than an average motorcar this is a reason enough to be cautious.
It is interesting that HD has attempted to market its products at the younger professional market, but that this message does not seem to have reached the far corners of the globe. Certainly, my experience here in Brisbane makes it abundantly clear that a clean sweep of the business that I visited is required. Installing professional management and salespeople is would go a long way to creating a professional environment. These would be the ones that did get the memo from HD that its target audience needs to change.
One good result of this is that I now still have my $38K in my pocket, and a partner who is a lot happier about me not having bought a motorcycle!
Harley Heaven Dandenong – I recently purchased a used Harley from Harley Heaven in Dandenong. Initially I had some issues with the transaction but they were quickly resolved and the service I received was exceptional. The dealer principal Daryl and sales manager Mark were extremely helpful in resolving the issues without delay or complication. I would absolutely buy another motorcycle from this dealership and thoroughly recommend dealing with them.
Harley Davidson Warranty is worthless! – Purchased a new Harley Davidson this year. The gauges all fill with water and this has left them unreadable in some circumstances, particularly with sunlight behind you. Sunshine Coast Harley have told us its a known issue and for 3 months have been promising to replace them. Harley Davidson have now stated they are sourcing a new supplier for… Read more
these faulty gauges but won't even commit to a time frame for repair. Are the expecting to take a couple of years or a couple of months??? They won't commit. I expect they are waiting for the warranty to run out then claim they're no longer liable.
