Absolute Crap – Not even 12 months old and driven less than 10,000ks and already bald and need replacing. They were the 215/65R16. Driven 90% of the time on tar. Great grip at first in the dry but terrible in the wet. Show details

Poor - 275/40 R19 Both rear tyres are cupping on the insides – I will attach pictures to back this review. I had HiFly 805's on the front which were 235/35 R19. They appeared to be fine and I have since replaced them but they have a diffferent pattern from the 275/40 R19 which is on the rear on my Lexus RC350. I was getting a lot of road noise which was increasing and thought it might be diff or wheel bearing… Read more

related. I took the rear tyres off and both resemble a multi-sided nut with evenly spaced high spots and flats inbetween which is giving me the road noise. Both tyre pressures were checked at 37psi which is a little high but not to the extent it would cause this (same pressure at the front which are fine). Now need to change these tyre which have decent tread but only travelled 26,000kms. This noise probably started after about 18,000kms

Cheap but crap – These were fitted by the dealer just before we picked up my wifes 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport. Dry grip is only ok even after 1000 k's. Wet is worse. Steering feedback is vague at best and even though I have had the alignment checked I'm starting to see outer edge wear already. I'm replacing them this weekend as I don't trust them. Show details

Absolutely Garbage – Have gone through 4-5 tyres and none have been removed due to the tread wearing out. Each one lasts maybe 10,000km before ripping from the inside wall. Wouldn’t recommend at all even though they are cheap. You are just going to end up wasting money to replace them after a couple months Show details

Good tyres and good grip – We have had these tyres on 2015 outlander for 2 years and done around 45-50 thou ks on them. Value for money is great and the tyres have never shown any tendency to lose traction. They need replacing now so ill be heading in to get another set. Cant fault them. I know some people have had some issues but dont you with anything? And generally the person who sold you the tyre will replace them if there is a fault. Show details

Superb Grip In Snow/Icy Conditions – I cannot comment on the longevity of the HiFly 805’s as only travelled a couple of hundred miles with them, but l can state categorically that these tyres displayed superb grip/traction in the recent spate of wintry weather up here in North Wales. We have a Mini Countryman on a 2013 plate (petrol, front wheel drive) and the 2 x HiFly’s were fitted to the front of the car.  Show details

Hifly HF805 Be sure to check the inside of this tyre – When I purchased my car from a dealer they had to replace the tyres. I have had these Hifly HF 805 on my car for 2 and half years. I have only done approx 20000 Ks. Today we checked our tyres prior to a long drive tomorrow and luckily my son was more than thorough in checking them. Not only did he check the tread depth and any wear and tear (they… Read more

all seemed to have heaps of tread still) he ran his hand over the inside of the two front tyres and found some unusual uneven tyre wear. We took one off and found the shoulder of the tyre had unusual wear and deterioration and the same on the other front tyre. The rest of the two front tyres were in excellent condition. I now do not feel safe with these on there, so now I have to buy 4 new tyres and will never buy these again.

Not worth buying even though they are cheap – Purchased these as a cheap replacement due to budget sized at 255 45 18. Very very bad quality. Rubber tearing off. Worn in the middle after 8k miles. Road noise very very bad once a few mm Come off. Never ever again. Don't take the risk. Genuine review from UK Buyer  Show details

Seriously worn down tyres and not driven on long trips – I have these on my Subaru Liberty and they are worn in the middle at just over 10,000kms. I wouldnt recommend them and wont use them again. The vehicle is mostly only driven in town. I took it for a drive on the open road and the road noise was frightening! Lorraine  Show details

Poor quality – I bought a set of 4, and discovered after 15,000 kms that the inner side wall on three of them had severe cracks, and the tread was nearing unroadworthy. It was confirmed to be a fault with the tyres, and not an alignment or balancing issue. They were replaced by the supplier after some resistance. Driveability, road noise, grip and handling were all acceptable, but the quality issue means I will never buy them again, and cannot recommend them.  Show details

Decent grip even under v8 power – I test drove a VE Calais V (V8 and dyno tuned) which had these tyres and instantly though the previous owner cheaped out on tyres.... After driving it for a week im very impressed with the grip under 100% throttle of the V8. I have been in the narrow hills roads with my heavy car and am also impressed! hardly any tyre squeal but I am driving my… Read more

Good for regular/somewhat harsh driving – After driving a few thousand k's on the 205/40/17's , I haven't found any issues with them, compared to the cheapies I bought it with, these tyres have good grip in dry and wet, it is bumpy, but that is expected with the small side wall and slightly lowered suspension. I will probably end up buying them again once they wear out if they hold up over time, or will put on a new car if I get one  Show details

Good for the price – Didn't know about this brand before i bought them. But after using them can't complain about the quality. The tyres have a good thread depth and walls are pretty durable. The tyres are excellent in dry conditions. Handling in wet condition are above average but compared to well known brands there is room for improvement. But overall good value for money.  Show details

Junk – I got to brand new ones of these put on my car and 30,000km later they are totally stuffed. The belts are broken is both tyres. I travel on average of a 150ks a day to and from work and luckily today I checked then because there was some weird road noise and vibration and it was almost warn through on a bubble in the tyre.  Show details

Dangerous - don't buy – When I purchased my used 2013 Falcon from a Ford dealer, it had 3 Firestone tyres and one Hifly tyre fitted. All were in good condition, the Hifly was new. The size was 245/35 R19. One year and 25,000 km's later, I noticed an issue with the inside edge of the Hifly. The Firestones have worn evenly across the tread. The Hifly has started to break… Read more

up over a width of about 30mm, right around the inside edge of the tyre. Chunks of rubber have broken off exposing the steel belt in some sections, while others have bubbled and distorted. This tyre was about to blow. This was not due to wear down to the steel belt. Where the chunks have flown off, the rubber is about 7mm thick. I did not know how dangerous it had become until actually getting down and looking under the car. You would expect this sought of issue with a retread, not a new tyre.

On my 3rd set, Amazing value for money – I felt compelled to write a review as I was genuinely surprised to read a couple of really bad review for these tyres. I'm on my 3rd set of 245/40/18 on my BF Falcon Ute and could not be happier. I replaced the original Dunlop's with these and was very surprised at the level of grip in both the wet and dry. I am getting a good 55,000 to 60,000km… Read more

per set with a combination of Highway and inner city use. These tyres have a good load rating too my Ute is always loaded with tools and or towing toys on the weekend. Now they are not perfect admittedly, they do get a little noisy as they reach end of life but over all i cant complain about the value for money these tyre represents. Ultimately doing the right things like checking tyre pressure and balance along with periodic wheel alignment and rotating should see you get a similar result.

Worst tyres I ever bought! – Only got 14500 km ( being generous) out of both front tyres started falling apart and got both flat within a week of each other due to severe deterioration ( rubber falling apart ) not sure how they are being legaly sold my old man thinks they were rethreaded and sold as new, i bought them from tyrepower, would not expect them selling rubbish like… Read more

that so don't know what's up with this, I have back tyres still going after 4 years different brand these lasted less then 2 years also one tyrepower was selling them for 175 the one i bought them from sold them for 125 same tyre same company different location pretty odd in its self?( actual tyre Hifly HF805 245/40ZR18 90WXL ).

Very noisy also changed the whole driving experience of my car went from silent smooth previous tyres to these noisy and almost clunky i guess thats the brittle hard rubber, felt like i was driving some cheap banger around then a premium vehicle.

Great tire for such a low price – A lot of people just enjoy dissing good things for no apparent reason, this tire is basically under priced for its quality, I basically grips very well and you could come close to comparing it with these expensive brands. It basically does well on both wet and dry surfaces. I don't know which range of HiFly tires the other people have been using… Read more

but with the 225/45/17 I tried its excellent and you could even go racing with it. Great for people driving fast cars that are on a low budget. I will buy another set after this and another after that, this company basically shows everyone that you don't have to dig too deep into your pocket to have a good set of safe tires. Big up HiFly and keep it low.

Terrible wear – Lost a tyre away from home and had to replace both fronts- all the local shop had in 235/45ZR17 was this garbage. Fair enough, $99 each, not too bad. 18 months and 25,000km later, no tread left. Must be a very soft compound to get the speed rating- they gripped OK when new. And I'm no hoonatik, I drive a cardigan! Twice the price will get you a… Read more

Great Tyres for the Average Driver – Wet grip: tested them on a skid-pan and the grip was excellent in my WRX my99. Dry grip: more than enough for regular driving on the roads. Smooth ride on the roads, road-noise is no different than other expensive brands I've used. 5,000km on tyres and no sign of wear at this stage. I'll be happy if I get over 25,000km for the price I paid.  Show details ·  1

Fair deal! Good Perfomance! – Those are good tyres. They perform good overall in all weather conditions for budget tyres. It is the second time I fitted them to my Audi A3 and I am happy with the result! They will keep you going for 30000 miles. They are not noisy as well. Buy them!  Show details

Wear badly - can't handle high speeds – When I bought my car it had Bridgestone Supercats front and rear. The fronts were new and the rears were at the end of their life. I do a lot of highway kms so I opted for cheap tyres, Hiflys, as I don't really need performance tyres on a straight road. I have had my 1999 BMW 323i for 40,000kms now and have just worn through my second set of… Read more

Hiflys on the rear while the Supercats on the front are still like new!! I don't do burnouts, I don't do too much spirited driving (highway kms) but the tread on both paris of rears I have had has worn straight down the centre (like I've been doing burnouts). I have the same tyre on my wife's car and they seem to be wearing evenly. The only factor I can put it down to is my average speed of 85km/h compared to her average soccer-mum speed of 45km/h. It's not tyre pressure either. I have the same pressure in the front as the rear (50/50 weight split) The Hiflys must have cheap carcasses that balloon at higher speeds, resulting in the wear straight down the centre.

I have no other real complaints about the tyres. They're not noisy, slippery, ugly, etc. They just seem to wear poorly at high speeds.

Bad, Dangerous tyre – Bought a Subaru WRX, which has a performance modified engine and sports suspension/steering fitted. The last owner had all four tyres replaced with HF805 Hifly's, they only had about 2000klm's on them when I bought the car, I found the tyres very rough on the road with lots of road noise, the tyres had a very unsafe feel in tight turns, a car… Read more

which has the hardware like this WRX should feel sure footed and safe in tight turns, not unsafe.

The Hifly HF805 tyres had bad wet weather performance, steering and breaking power, again being somewhat dangerous, I only drove on a unsealed/gravel road once, the tyres were well again dangerous, getting a rally ride at a slow speed, 50kph, where my other Subaru can drive the same gravel road at around 100kph, which I drive regular.

After 5000 klms the HF805 tyres were wearing out fast, and they all wore at a different rate, with a four wheel alignment and steering check, which was all O.K, I still found the tyres wearing out, again at different rates, tried a tyre rotation, no help, tyre pressure changes did no help.

After 8000klms the tyres were wearing out very fast and cuts or splits were appearing in the tread, going across the tread, one had only one split on it, another had three splits across the tyre, my tyre fitter had a look and found that they were where the tread was glued together in pieces, which I think is bad, the more I drove the more the splits opened up.

After only 11000klms the tyres were in a bad state, the worst two got replaced with Bridgestone Potenza RE003, what a different car with this simple change.

Well I cant say anything good about the Hifly HF805 tyres, except price, they are CHEAP, DANGEROUS on a performance car, they are made from bit's and pieces which start to fail quickly, just another Chinese cheap tyre.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF HIFLY TYRES ON A PERFORMANCE CAR.

Great tyres and good value for money – I had a set of 4 Hyfly HF805 size 205 50 16 fitted to my '02 Subaru Liberty RX and have now done 25,000 Klms on them.I have to admit at the time that I had them fitted,I was sceptical as to the value regards to wear ,braking and cornering and road noise, but I have been pleasantly surprised to find them as good as the more expensive brands that I… Read more

have had on the car like Bridgestone and Firestone.

The Hyfly's, for the price of $105 each ,have an asymmetrical tread, a higher speed and weight rating than the others and also have a side lip to protect alloy wheels from gutter damage.

I estimate that with the amount of tread wear so far that I could expect to get 60,000Klms out of the tyres.I am rotating them every 5,000 Klms to wear them out evenly.

I drive the vehicle on mostly country roads and occasionally on motorways

I would be happy to recommend them to any body thinking of fitting them to a Subaru AWD car.

Unexpected pleasantly surprised – I had a set on waning 225/50 r17s on my Skoda Yeti and I struck a fallen rock with the left front tyre destroying it - had to be towed back to a Tyrepower dealership and the only tires to match were the HiFly's so I had no choice really if I wanted to get back into the road quick and get to work so I took the punt with no knowledge of the brand.… Read more

After I took the mandatory over inflation of the tyre fitter from 45psi down to 29, these tyres are less noisy than the old pirelli's and the Hancooks I had and I think they handle better in my opinion. Great value as these sized tyres tend not to be cheap but at 130.00 fitted I think I have had a win :)

Hifly HF805 195-50-r16 Amazing tyre – I bought my second hand Suzuki Swift Sport with these tyres (Hifly HF805). I would never have bought these tyres on my own accord because I always believe that Japanese and European brands are best. As such, I have driven on Bridgestone Potenza RE001, Yokohama Advan A043, Goodyear Eagle GSD3 and RS3 just to mention a few, as well as numerous… Read more

semi slicks like Toyo R888 and RA1.

Initially, I was very disappointed that I now had to live with 'made in China' tyres. Then I started driving the Suzuki Swift daily. The steering accuracy was the best I have ever experienced in a car. The Hifly tyres are so responsive and stiff in the sidewall that I can pick a line through any corner and place the car there effortlessly. Makes driving through twisty roads a breeze and joy. The dry grip from these tyres are very good and more than adequate for any form of daily commuting. They are also very progressive.

The critical test was when it started raining. The Hiflys performed very well indeed, They just grip the road like any quality Japanese tyre. Lets just say, I was very surprised. All in all, a very good tyre for daily duties.

These tyres are awesome! – Who said you can't have great tyres at a great price? Well, I have always looked far and wide for the best deals on tyres (as we now have three cars in the family). I used to be a 'Yokohama' fan for many years because of their reliability, safety, durability and of course 'the name' and used to spend around $1,000 for a set of tyres (235/45R17)… Read more

on only one vehicle, not incl wheel alignment. These 'Hifly HF805' tyres have been branded as a high performance tyre, that perform excellent in both wet and dry conditions, but not only that, they are REALLY cheap!! How cheap, well for $420 I just picked up a whole set (235/45R17) for the Magna here in Adelaide, (not incl wheel alignment). These tyres not only look good, yes they do, they are extremely quiet and responsive compared to other brands that I have tried/driven with over the past 32 years. Hey I admit, I was a little hesitant when I bought my first two (only) for the front of the Alfa last week, but they have already exceeded my expectations especially in the wet, wow, they really push that water out. So in a nut shell and don't take my word for it, try them and see the results for yourself. Happy driving (and saving), cheers!!
