Hinen's response is not top-rank in responding and organising battery replacement. Further, Hinen does not cover expenses to bills caused by their battery fault. Solar battery system (3xbattery per stack, 2 stack system wtih three phase inverter total 53kwh) installed in 17 Dec. 2025. System started playing up with alerts in around 18 Jan, 2026. Called their installer (Select Electrical for support) which provided support only after a few days. Battery continued to show alerts and found that it only operates at half-capacity, and had one-time shutdown the whole electricty at home and had not been operating from 30 Jan. 2026 to mid Feb. 2026 for at least 2 weeks. Installer and Hinen decided to check and isolated 1 stack to make it work at half-capacity.

Troubleshooting and replacement of battery was arranged and continued follow-up with Hinen only got the replacement installed and working on 12 Mar 2026.

That was about 8 weeks of battery not fully functional.

Hinen did not extend compensation support for the faulty product. You have to follow-up again and again to get things going. While their professional courtesy from support is good, you have to put up a lot of patience while waiting for action.
