Excellent Tv Quality rivals big name brands – Excellent tv with excellent 4k picture quality. Everything is excellent, only issue is i wish it was amdroid based for the huge range of apps. You cannot beat the price and quality on this unit. Was display model paid $630 with full warranty which i have not had to use thanks God. What a quality tv brand!!!!!  Show details

Good product, some changes needed – bought this from the good guys a year ago. comes with 3yr warranty. a smart tv with what you need minus the big brand name and unnecessary issues that come with their unstable OS. sound quality is ok, but i plugged in a sound bar. response from support team was reasonable. it'll be good if they release new firmware periodically.  Show details

Purchased recently - happy so far. No problems great picture/sound etc – My son purchased this for his room in our new house. Mounted on the wall - he loves it. Plays his games etc and hasn't complained yet. The picture quality is great - no problems with sound etc. For the price, compared to other more expensive brands, can't fault it and the warranty period is longer than most. that's always a good thing. Would purchase a Hisense again.  Show details

Beautiful Picture - Great – We just got this last week so I cant talk about long term reliability but wow! The picture is superb. I guess TV panels have come a long way because now even second tier brands such as Hisense are doing amazing things. This is my first 4K TV so I guess that could be part of it. Colours are so vibrant, darks are clear too. It makes out old TV seem like a joke. Remote is complicated but OK. This is a great TV.  Show details

Great Tv – The picture quality of this Tv is great. sound is awesome too. the menu is easy and fast to navigate. Built in Net Flix button on the remote is great. adding extra apps is not easy so you are better off using a chrome cast or similar. overall great value for money given the quality rivals the more expensive big name brands.  Show details

Well priced smart tv – Previous smart tv was Samsung and to be honest it was more user-friendly and intuitive than this Hisense however it was also more expensive. So for the price the Hisense has proven to be a decent replacement tv. The 'smart' functions are easy enough to use. The remote has 2 large buttons for YouTube and Netflix, taking you straight to those… Read more

services. That'd be great if I subscribed to Netflix so it would be better if the remote could be reprogrammed to make that button personalised to the pay subscription I use (Stan). The Stan app in the smart functions works as great as it did on the Samsung.

Beautiful Picture – More than a bit pleased with this TV. The picture is just spot on. I had my doubts about a 4K Hisense but now I have it home it's just great. Color balance, black separation and contrast are all on point. The design of the outside is beautiful too. If I could change one thing, I would have better speakers built in but I have surround sound set up so its no big deal. Considering the price, this is a great all around choice.  Show details

Great value for money – This is one of the best TV's you can purchase in regards to value for money, I could not believe I was getting a 4k 50 inch TV for the price I did. It doesn't lack in quality. I can nearly compare it to the 3 thousand dollar 4k LG we own in the media room. Great value for money.  Show details

Ticks all the boxes, A very smart T.V – Got mine brand new for only $800, an absolute bargain. Good quality price – The tv is good for the price it has. They have good options and samart tv. The sound is also pretty good. It is important to have a good internet for the use of netflix etc, because if you do not have enough speed, the quality goes down a lot.  Show details

Value for money – One of the cheapest smart TV available with good reputation, has 3 year warranty to it. Has all the available functions, Netflix, stan, 4K, HDR, for this price, doubt you can get any... am not fuss with brands so this does the job and so far so good! I am satisfied with my purchase!  Show details

Bargain, decent image quality, great second tv for the bedroom – Got this on sale from JB at a bargain price (~$640). It has decent image quality, and the tv software has been slightly improved over the series 5. The built in PLEX app, although still outdated now works (albeit slowly), but this is a big improvement of the completely unusable version they had on the series 5. Netflix button on remote is handy,… Read more

and the built-in wifi has had no problem connecting to the router. The speakers are tinny, but this works well for the bedroom, as we don't want excessive bass walking up the kids. The night-time and voice audio preset settings are also helpful for boosting dialogue without having to increase the overall volume too much.

Over-all very happy for the price.

Disappointed – Replaced a 7 yo LG which had failed (no picture). I expected with all the technological advances since the LG was purchased that I would be blown away by picture and sound quality, Sadly, not so. The picture is impressive on HD channels but disappoints on the others such as 94, 73 etc. Sound quality is very ordinary. Far too "thin" and "tinny"  Show details

Excellent value TV – I had been reviewing this model for a couple of months, downsizing from a 60” Samsung plasma (due to the plasma model throwing radiant heat). The Hisense is in our sun room, (lots of reflection potential) however the picture quality is perfect in Dynamic mode for watching sport and also movies. The 4K set up is a breeze, whilst I’m not a fan of… Read more

Stan or proprietary channels I’ve used the YouTube streaming function and it’s just fantastic.

Value for money it beats any other going offer right now - and the 3 years Manufacturer’s Warranty is a bonus.

Set up was very simple out of the box, I connected to our wifi in a minute and ran through the picture quality options- after changing the brightness and contrast settings in Normal picture mode- I realised the quality of my custom setting was identical to the Dynamic mode, and swapped to that.

Swapping from TV to AV to watch Foxtel is simple, I had to initially change the screen setting in this mode to fill the aspect size of the screen, it stuck after this no worries.

We watch a lot of horse racing and cricket on this unit, it’s the best quality picture I have experienced.

Purchased from The Good Guys in SA on their Boxing Day promo, I paid $635.

Awesome unit and can highly recommend.

Poooooor customer service and poor quality products – I bought it 2 years ago, turns its-self off randomly, sent emails to get it rectified with a software updates and no response, now they I called and they answered and they can find my details but I have to get the receipt. 2 years and moved house and they expect me to find it. that is $$$ in the bin, this is what hisense is all about. crap quality and less than helpful customer support  Show details

I returned this TV after trying my best to like it for a week – This TV had 3 issues I could not live with, so I returned it: 1) I saw 'ghosts' on the screen (even for non-action based viewing), which I could only attribute to its 50 Hz refresh rate, as compared to the 100 Hz rate I was used to with my previous TV. 2) It was not compatible with .mp4 files. I tried both USB and various DLNA servers, it just… Read more

does not like them.

3) It was not fully ARC/HDMI compatible with controlling the 'on' function of my Yamaha Home Theater Amplifier. Again, my previous 2012 model LG TV could turn the Amp on and off, no trouble. This Hisense had issues.

Otherwise, this TV was fine for the $ spent!

Frame the Base, panel – To spend on a perfect frame and base, the panel is fine, not as good as samsung. To frame perfectly with centered base. Best to wait on sales, sony or samsung, LG. Prices vary timely and is best to wait. The samsung and sony you can get a better panel and design at the same price.  Show details

Great picture and sound at a reasonable price! – Came from a shared house that had a Samsung Smart TV and was really impressed by the Hisense 50N6 UHD TV. Nice, clear crisp picture and great sound from inbuilt speakers. Netflix, Stan, UTube and other apps come bundled with the TV too. Easy to set up and simple to navigate the remote control. Would recommend to anyone after a decent 4K UHD TV!  Show details
