Can not buy in Australia any more....what a pity – These are excellent machines ,the Hitachi we owned previous to current (cant remember model) lasted 23 years and never a problem. Current machine is 14 years old and never been touched. I think the fact they are made in Japan is the reason they just last so long. Fast washing and great results, it just does what a washing machine should do. Great reliability, ask ANY service guy. Lint can sometimes be a small problem
Our hitachi washer dryer combo has lasted over 32 years. We bought it from a white goods shop in Manly. For,if I remember, $600 for both, about half the price of the equivalent at the the time .

Hi, just wanted to ask whether you have had your Hitachi SFH800PX serviced at all?I have had mine for over 10 years, and only recently it has started to stop mid cycle just before the rinse cycle. Any suggestions or help would be greatly
