I have a 2015 ltz Colorado, changed trans fluid and filter 3 months ago worked fine , now will not go into overdrive, shifts threw all other gears fine
Time to replace the clutch on my 2013 RG Holden Colorado 5 Speed. Will there be any adverse effects on the transmission / drivetrain If the DMF is converted to a SMF?
I Just changed the oil and filter and car went into limp mode. How do I fix that?
It’s not related to changing the oil and filter, just coincidental it’s happened, if you know someone with a code reader or scan tool they can clear it for you, or disconnect the battery for an hour and that can do it as well.
My 2018 RG 4x4 LS automatic dual cab seems to be using a lot of fuel. In last 1198 km it has averaged 11.62 L/100 km. Mix of town and highway driving and no load in tray and mostly one person.
Have you been pushing into a headwind? That affects my Z71 economy

Possibly dirty maf or map sensor, carbon and oil buildup in inlet manifold due to egr and pcv contamination?

Fan has nothing to do with engine revs. Did you change it from a clutch fan to a fixed fan?
Have a problem with left rear wheel bearing l have had to replace 3 in last 4 years has any one had similar problem
No issues with mine wheel bearing wise, sounds like an alignment issue in the axle tube.

Hi Folks, the problem I have is that the reversing sensors on the rear bumper of my vehicle have stopped working, not completely as the do periodically work. they will work until I either change gear or put it into neutral. I have checked the wires to the sensors and can none appear to be broken. Is there anything I can do before heading to an auto electrician. Regards John

Can anyone help me with a problem with my 2012 Rg Colorado. The vehicle is going into limp mode while driving and taking the foot off the accelerator traveling down a hill. The fault occurs about every 50 km . I was wondering if any one has had the same fault and may be able to help me..

I had a similar issue in my 2013 RG Colorado. The issue ended up being a dirty / Clogged up EGR - they do not clean these as part of regular service / maintenance.

Does the 2017 bullbar fit 2012 model
Is it a straight swap/replacement of engine from 2016-2022 to 2012-14. Or are there different monitoring and control sensor and software. Cheers

My 2012 RG 4x4 LTZ seems to have no cabin filter setup?? Vidz online show how to replace it but mine is solid, cant be opened and has open vents at the top, feeling from the top onpen vents can feel straight to bottom no filter. Is this normal on first series RG?
2015 Holden Colorado Dual Cab Diesel 4x4. Have light on in Instrument Panel. It is a round pale white light with a white dot in the Centre and a fine white line that leans to the left. Not seen before. Any ideas what it means ?
What controls the headlight voltage I change the headlight bulbs and they are still dull I have added an earth wire thinking that the earth was crook made no difference?
There are a number of possibilities 1. Wrong bulbs e.g. 24v not 12v 2 wrong amperage 3. Alternator isn't putting out correct voltage 4. Bad earth 5. Bad relay 6. Bad battery. 7. Bad terminals with high resistance. The Colorado is very sensitive to battery condition. I bought a new 800 cranking amp battery in October 2021. It was now only 580 cranking amps and wasn't charging correctly. This was causing issues. New battery fixed issues. Only a battery electrician can check this properly. Cheers
Hi..2017 trailblazer ltz..have towed my van for years with it ..no problemo. Now blowing hose of the throttle body..have a mechanic fix on due to 3attempts to fix..now in limp mode..seems to have power and turbo appears fine.. Is the manafold glogged?
Hi if it's the top Turbo hose I had exactly the same experience after a service when the hoses had to be removed. The NRMA mechanic spent allot of time using start your ie ether and rags to really clean the inside of the hose where is slips over the the cast inlet. This gives the rubber the ability to really grip the intake. He then used a good quality socket set not a screw driver to tighten the hose clamp really well. We have not had any problems since. These hoses were replaced by the dealer at about 90k. Cheers
Nothing to worry about mate, It happened to me haha. All diesels have that issue.... especially when dyno tuning, they pop off every now and then if they have been taken off and not cleaned. As what Hugh said the hoses get oily residue inside. If you need to take the hoses off next time clean the inside as dry as u can and also clean the outside of throttle body. CJRAuto
