Avoid – This is hard to use, especially effectively getting product into the tank. Having wasted lots of fungicide, I gave up and used my pump sprayer. Back it goes!
overly complicated, saves no time, waste of money, don't buy it!! – I bought this as it looked like a good idea. It worked once, but then it was just a royal pain. This is not cheap either at 60 bux. The 5 litre one is the one I bought. I will list all the issues and problems , and the only minor benefit there ever could be, that was negated anyway by all the issues. I was using it to spray Eco-oil on my orange… Read more
tree for aphids, and really you just want to get it out, fire it up, get the job done in 20 minutes.
This is way too complicated in its construction. Getting the oil (or concentrate) into it is a mild nuisance trying to get the tight chamber open. Then one connects it to a hose to supply the pressure so that it delivers the entire 5 litres with no pumping. The trigger-piece is very weak and breaks easily, it splits open with the pressure too,. I had to get another trigger from manufacturer after second use, but it split AGAIN on the 4th use. On the 4th use it also lost pressure completely after 30 seconds, even forgetting the split which i sort of taped up so i could use it. Then there is no way to get the mixture out except with a slow gravity dribble. After another half hour I recharged it again, only to have it do it again. At this point, having wasted another hour, I just threw it in the bin where it belongs.
Given that the ONLY benefit is no pumping up pressure during the spray which saves about 1 minute, having this expensive, heavy, bulky, weak-trigger-piece, complicated sprayer is completely pointless.
The company did write back, but all they would do is offer me another time-waster... PASS!!! Hopefully this review will save a few dozen people from throwing their money away.
I believe this is a pet-project of some high-level desk-jockey at the company,,, which explains why it is useless... the world and desk-jockey "engineers" ... sigh!!!!. BEWARE!!!!!
photos show item where it should be... in the bin.... to be recycled into something actually useful.
