038 spares will fit this saw.72cc engine is thirsty as I am after a days wood carting but so are all saws around that displacement...Can be a annoying to start if you don't know what your doing with a three pos choke.Saw has cut over fifty loads of Hill Gum and still going strong.I do maintain my saws well so expect a great life from this Unit.

Great saw – Have had saw now for 3 years. Still starts perfectly and runs well. The only negative is it leaks chain bar oil when not in use. I always make sure it is empty when I finish. A lot of saws do this though.. Would recommend anyone to purchase this product

It's not the saw – I purchased two G372 chainsaws from megamachinewarehouse . Both dampner mounting broke after medium use and I have attempted to get the parts replaced. I was asked for photos - which I took after having to partly dismantle each saw - but have not received any encouraging replies. drive sprocket, inner wear pads, chain bar & chain.

I ended up fabricating the dampner mountings myself and [hopefully the other parts are interchangeable with Stihl. Mega don't seem to carry spare parts and always refer my problems to their "technician", not a mechanic. The warranty is not worth the paper.

Great saw for the price – I've had this saw for a year now and am very happy with it and the warranty. I broke the pull start rope on it a few weeks ago and they sent me a whole new starter mech in a few days. It can be a bit tricky to start but all 72cc's can be. up on a chainsaw mill to see how it goes. At the price even just the new stihl chain and bar are worth it.

Only complaint is the choke adjustments are a bit finicky.

saw is a good size and power for bucking trees into rounds for splitting. The overall quality of the saw is 'excellent', the quality of the plastic finishing is 'good' equal to an Echo or hardware store chainsaw, though better than the Baumr ag saw I have. Ultimately the value for money is amazing at $300 it deserves a 5 star rating.

holzfaller chain saw – got a holzfaller chain saw they look part they go rev well they run stihl chains and they are less than half the price so you do the math they cut a lot of as good as a stihl or maybe better i would recamend them to any one i think they are one of best on the market

found out i was the one that had the least down time even though at every refill i sat and had a smoke .End result i had cut more firewood than they had and did it easy.

Get one and you wont be sorry. Reliable cheap and a lot of parts inter changable with another major brand Havent found a fault yet actually dont expect the way it runs

Holzfaller Rampage! – I recently purchased the G372 from megamachine and I'm wildly impressed with this saw!It is well built and very nicely finished.The power is fantastic right through the rev range,it outperforms an eighty two cc saw that I compared it to on the same timber both with semi-chisel chains.I would definitely purchase another in the future. Megamachine was really good to deal with,polite very helpful and simply easy to deal with. The power! The price!

fantastic saw – I have bought several of these saws and have not had any problem with any of them. They outperform other brands of the same size that I have used and I think will outlast them to. handyman/small logs and little jobs.Overall they are a great heavy duty reliable saw and do not know of a better big saw available today. Stihl chains and bars will fit these saws. great power heavy but it is a big saw

Heaps of grunt grate saw – I use this saw evary day cuting 20 in redgum with not a problem. Its just a blue stihl 038 magnum but actually revs harder and all parts are interchangeable as I have changed a few parts on mine. On its third season now an still screaming. What a craker "best buy" – Well what can i say what a chainsaw! I have been looking for a new saw for the last 6 months well i found it.The Holzfaller G372 is it .I put it to the test against a MS441 Sthil witch is a 70cc. The holzfaller is on par with it. why pay big big dollars when you can get these saw which is just a durable for quarter of the price Strong,powerful reliable

good solid machine – great price an great saw.cut about 20 loads of mainly yellow box last winter an never missed a beat and its getting ready for oncoming winter.it has no problems working under Australian conditions an the bar is still in great condition.big enough for the big stuff yet its not to heavy. tough and suited to australia conditions

Mega machine have been very approachable and have always returned my contact for spares or other purchases. I am very happy with my saw and love using it. Great saw!! – I rececently purchased a Holzfaller G372 chainsaw with a 20 inch bar from mega machines warehouse. The service was excellent! The saw arrived very fast and has more grunt than I need.
