Perfect! – I use this blender every second day for my smoothies. I also chuck ice in them and it crushes it up! I have yet to use the nut crusher blade but I’m stocked! It doesn’t take up a lot of room on the benches but has so many separate starting containers!  Show details

Great for smoothies – I found this blender invaluable lately being a new mum I'm short on time and even shorter on space this is small and does a great job I like that I can just drink straight from the cup I blended in wash it up n go again I use it for times where I need something in my stomach but don't have time to make a meal smash in ya berrys , yougurt, oats and milk give it a buzz and you got some breakfast you wouldn't have time for otherwise  Show details

Great blitzing blender – This blender does all my fruit, ice, sauces with ease. It does how ever start with a strong and loud action. Once you have used it a few times you forget about the initial shock of the units operation. The cups are perfect sizes with two size options, all with lids. So easy to clean and maintain. Looks great and has suction cup feet that… Read more

adhere it to the bench. Just as well as it might take off otherwise.... powerful, quick, good performance and great looking.

Blender part keeps burning out...literally! – This is the second homemaker pro 1000 blender I have owned. The first lasted 11 months before the rubber on the blender part started stripping off. K mart were great and replaced it. I have had my recent one for 3 months and I have just had a really bad experience whilst blending as the rubber has ripped off of the mechanical part and the metal… Read more

part underneath was showing and starting stripping off too. I could smell burning (after about 20secs) so stopped it and was faced with what I just described. Very dangerous indeed. Wish I could post a picture of the parts. I won't be getting a new one this time. Time for an upgrade

smalls like the engine is burning – I bought one these after having the smaller unit for years. Only lasted 6 months before the motor burnt itself out. I think it was faulty from the start as it always had a funny smell when we used it  Show details

Only works for a few months – I have gone through two of these now. I use it every morning for my breakfast smoothie. After a few months the first stopped clicking into place and would not work. Now, a few months later, my replacement blender is having the same issue. If you are thinking of getting one, you would be better of saving and investing in a NutriBullet.  Show details

Initially great, but didn’t last – I started out in love with the product, but it didn’t last. Is very loud and often leaks when blending even though seals are on properly and tight. Doesn’t crush ice well either  Show details

Excellent value for price – So Kmart is always a good place to shop for inexpensive household items. This was one of my purchase. I use it to make milk shakes. Smoothies. Fruits frappes and baby food into puréed baby food. It comes with two sets of blades. One with two blades and the other has 6 blades. it also comes with two extra rubber rings for replacement when your… Read more

current rings get old and worn out. Comes with drinking lids so you don’t need to transfer it into another cup (less washing up) for the price it’s excellent value for everything I need it for. I don’t use this everyday. Probs 3 - 4 times per wk.

Great blender especially for the price – I only use it for smoothies because that’s why I bought it but we find it awesome. It’s so easy that you just chuck everything in, blend then switch to a drinking lid and off you go. Makes it so easy in the morning to whip up a breakfast smoothie. Great price and great product. I don’t think you need to spend any more on the brand names  Show details

Average experience – The problem being it is hard to actually start, needs to be firmly closed and then it is quite hard to turn it in the direction of the arrows. I felt it may break with the force I had to use. Generous with accessories.  Show details

Better than originals – Love this, had the Nutri bullet and cups broke and the seal came out constantly. Thought we'd give this a go at such a cheap price and it's been great, mixes well, great size cups, haven't regretted it. Noisy but no noisier than the Nutri bullet. Also great grinder.  Show details

Pretty good for $50 – This blender does a good job, especially for the cheap price. The rubber seals can be a bit annoying when they don't stay in place, and it doesn't blend quite as well a Nutribullet, but it has easily given me my monies worth.  Show details

Smoothie Heaven – This blender is great for blending up frozen fruit smoothies and dips. I use it daily and it is so quick and easy to use. Once blended, you just turn it upside down, unscrew the blender attachment and replace it with the sipper lid and because the blender attachment can be detached, it is so easy to rinse and you don't lose half the contents in… Read more

the jug, like the bigger blenders. Great value for money and works as well as some of the more expensive mini blenders.

not a perfect choice – i bought this blender because i wanted to give it a go and see how if it is comparpable to expensive brands. it did the job well but not satisfactory.i was always cleaning it up from outside while using it because it keep leaking a little bit in uses. Also the most annoying part was its rubbers/seal that are fitted in the part with blade because… Read more

these seal bands keep falling off/ coming out /getting loose and sometimes breaking .

overall it is a product for time being but not for long terms. Also blending job is 3 out of 5

Worked well, but only for a few months! – This machine seemed great at first, much easier than using my big blender and I love making thick smoothies, and this was great for that. After about 3 months of use it became really hard to 'click in' the vessel to the motor. Eventually the motor would not engage at all. Of course I didn't keep my receipt so I just chucked it. That's what you get for $50 I guess.  Show details

Good for price but not perfect – Like all blenders, this one seems only designed for short pulsing. Any more than 10 seconds and the motor seems to heat up and smell. Good for price but doesn't like like it will last a long time due to issue mentioned above.  Show details

Great blender – Great blender for a good price. Performs as well as any brand name blender I have used in the past. Has successfully blended everything I have attempted, with the exception of frozen banana.  Show details

Excellent Value For Money – For $49.95 this blender is awesome. Great for shakes in the morning and juicing. It comes with all the accessories so you can make individual smoothies for the whole family. It is also easy to dismantle for cleaning. It is fine for blending soup as long as it's not too hot, else it overheats and needs to rest for a bit. Great for dips too and you can then store them in the fridge as is.  Show details

Powerful little blender – Purchased this little gem for Kmart for around $60 - it has 1000 watts of power -comes with two tall and two small blender cups for drinking on the go -one blending blade one grinding blade two spare replacement ring seals - it safely grips on the bench which is a plus plus -and it really powers on well I absolutely love this little gem -doesn't… Read more

take up much space if you wish to leave on the bench -ok it doesn't have different speeds if that's what you require but if just needed for quickly mixing soups, shakes etc this is for you - it's 1 minute on 3 mins off so as not to overheat but I have very rarely had to do that as it works so quick as in blending soup mixture I would blend 1-2 cup portions at a time for like 20 seconds at a time as it's really quick.

There was a guy on you tube complaining that it should be withdrawn as the plastic container doesn't lock into the base but that may have been a previous model as he doesn't state the model name but my model certainly turns and clicks in and you can't lift the plastic bottle out once it's clicked in so maybe they improved the model
