I find the Honda Brush Cutter heavy and unbalance to operate after operating a Stihl. The bump head needs a more robust nut to allow the head to run on the ground. I like the 4 Stroke Engine.

The machine/engine works great. The head /whipper snipper cord system has been very disappointing. It is not easy to load, the bump feed does not work and cord delivery through the head is poor and often just shoots out well before all used up. Other whipper snippers eg Ryobi cord feed system is a lot better. My whipper snipper is only 12 months old. Please offer me an updated and better feed system if available, and if you are fair dinkum about taking notice of this feedback.

Never BUY this trimmer. Smoke from motor in 10 days .Zero STAR for this product – Got smoke coming out of engine less than 15days of usage after purchase. ($400 product) am not sure of other products they have , but never buy this one. I have escalated this to honda and they said its not covered under warranty repair Their support is not there to provide support to products instead they are trained to advocate denying warranty claims for non -technical customers. i have filed a case with accc for this day light robbery. I am not suprised as ACCC already took honda to court for allegedly misleading customers.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $400.

Hi Brian, Thanks for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re happy with the engine performance. The cord feed issue may be related to how the line is loaded or the type of cord used, so we recommend checking the loading instructions in your Owner’s Manual. You can find this here: external link
If you’d like an easier option, our Speed Feed Trimmer Head (part no. 72560UMS0W4) is a popular addition for the UMS425.
Thanks
