EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE ON A NEW VEHICLE Purchased a new Honda ZR-V HEV LX from Western Sydney Honda for delivery on the 23/05/25. On pickup or collection day on arrival at dealership we were advised that the vehicle had been damaged on the front fender, due to either negligence whilst off loading or during final clean. On inspection by ourselves it became apparent the “scratch” was more than a scratch. The vehicle had either driven over something or been dragged over an object resulting in the scratch turning into severe underneath damage from the front of the vehicle to right underneath the engine(see attacked pics) The dealer did advise repairs would be undertaken but had not inspected the vehicle properly. We had to crawl underneath the car to check the damage which included gashes, torn out securing fender bolts and a very long deep scrape/gash underneath. On contacting Honda Australia it gets diabolical as there response time is so slow, in excess of 48 hours, the only communication was to say (abbreviated of course) we will look into it. Having fully paid for a car which I have not received, have not had an update on from any parties concerned either. Honda service is clearly not on par for what you would expect from a vehicle manufacturer or supplier. This is so disappointing to encounter. Honda clearly needs a review of their operations and on how to handle “brand new damaged cars”. I would expect a call/email or message from management or the dealer. In a nutshell, you sell cars that you yourselves damage then pass off as new??? To tell a buyer of your products that sorry it’s damaged but will be fixed and then it’s “new” again is pathetic and really bad service. Let’s all see how this works out. I can see a ACCC situation coming!

Purchased in at Honda Dealers for $56,000.

This far as from 23/05/25 and today’s date is 28/05/25 the response that I’ve received from Honda is “We are attending to you” and then an email to say “we have spoken to the Dealer and your vehicle will be fixed sometime this week”. From the Dealer themselves I have had no correspondence at all and no follow up regards the repairs or date of completion. Shame on you Honda, customer service at its worst.

When purchasing a new Honda please be aware that if you have any issues or problems Honda Australia will not assist you in resolving the issues. Their automated system responds to you after lodging a complaint. From themselves they are not forthcoming. So buyer beware is the caution ⛔️

Collected vehicle today 30/05 a week after scheduled delivery, drove 5 km and warning sounds and lights started flashing to to tell me “Brake Malfunction”. Called the dealer to advise and was told, it’s Friday we are closing but you will have to bring it back AGAIN to be fixed/reset/checked. If I may, HONDA your vehicle checks are non existent or very poorly done. This has left such a bad taste and total disappointment in buying this car from Honda. Service is not there, when there it is poor or just dismal, lack of proper communication is noticeable and Customer Care seems overwhelmed by complaints. Really great feedback for Honda
