Follow-up · There has been no maintenance whatsoever over the 12 years I have had this Hoover Dryer It handles delicate fabrics provided you remember to use it on “ Warm “ setting and avoid leaving it for as long as one would use the hot setting for doing Bed Linen /Towels etc.. Initially I choose this model as Hoover is one brand I had in the U.K. Which never let me down.
Best Dryer Ever!! – I've had this dryer since I'd say about 2005 maybe and its only just starting to stop and start working and i really want to buy another one the same which brought me here and discovered it's been discontinued..noooo!!! It's such an easy to use dryer without all the silly unuseful buttons and all the choices regarding vented or unvented these days..ahhhh help!! I just want another one the same Show details

AMAZING!! – I have had this dryer for more than 10 years. It has travelled with us to the UK and back and it still works perfectly. It is simple to use and never fails. I dry all types of clothes in it except my teenage sons tshirts as they worry the tshirts will shrink. I dry my husband's tshirts in it and never any issues. Best dryer ever! Show details
Works great – Had this dryer for few years. Does the job well. This is a basic dryer. Does not have too many fancy functions. easily will dry 5 kgs. Have not had any issues with the dryer. The lint filter is very easy to clean which is at the front exhaust. Will recommend. Show details
robust – I had one that had a broken door but found one going for free on Gumtree. Swapped the door over and its still going well. Doesn't have auto reverse but it dries up to 5kg of towels easily. Have owned for about 4 years. Using it right now. Thats all. Show details · 1
Good – this is a very good dryer, I have had no problems with mine at all. It has a good capacity for clothes and sheets, towels etc and with the stainless steel drum is easy to keep clean and the operation is very simple. stainless steel drum. capacity
Bad – good value except the energy rating doesn't mean all that much if it is taking a long time to dry the clothes. probably wouldn't buy it again because it takes too long to dry larger items. never had a problem with it. i have run it for long times before and it has always performed, even under pressure wrinkles the clothes badly and doesn't cope… Read more
with large loads. takes a long time to dry such things as towels and jeans. sheets need to be reloaded a couple of times to get the damp areas
Good – Would buy again. Very good dryer. Just goes on and on. Lint filer at the front is rasy to clean. Programming took a bit of learning but eventually got the hang of it. Good with delicates. It just worked Noise. It's not a silent dryer
OK – I've had this dryer for eight years, and have really liked it overall. But over the past few months it has decided enough's enough. The drum doesn't turn if there are more than a couple of big pieces of clothing in there, and I have to literally use it only in emergencies. Very tedious. easy lint filter cleaning; cheap; and it dries the… Read more
clothes! Doesn't take a big load; useless with sheets and towels as you can't fit more than a couple in at a time. Low energy rating
OK – I think this is a good bargain dryer that does a good job as long as you don't overload it. My clothes don't even need an iron after being in this! The lint filter is not up to the job, as my laundry floor gets covered in lint after a couple of loads. Good value Lint filter is poor
OK – It's a great backup for the clothes line when its damp or rainy. Heavy items take too long to dry and larger items must be dried by themselves or will wrinkle. Great for perm press, no ironing. Always reliable and dependable, gets the job done requires long cycles to get clothes dry. No good for big loads, it wrinkles everything up. Capacity is smaller than matching washing machine
Good – Got a good buy, but it does pay to shop around. The same model was $100 more expensive in some other shops here in Dubbo, I got it for $349 at Myer, still waiting on our washer to arrive though... Budget price, 5kg dryer for the price of a 3.5kg Not a very high 'star' rating, meaning expensive to run. Performance wise nothing to report as yet.
