Excellent – This will leave your carpets cleaner than they've been in a long time. I won't bother getting my carpets professionally cleaned anymore - this does an outstanding job! It CLEANS your carpet! I previously had another, cheaper, carpet cleaning unit, but this one is infinitely better at cleaning. It extracts a large volume of the water, allowing the… Read more
carpets to dry out very quickly. I find it hard to operate the handle release switch with my right foot, but that's really a very minor quibble.
Excellent – This is by far the best carpet cleaner I have used. Easy and light to move makes carpet cleaning easy. Is quick and efficient and does not leave carpet too wet if you follow instructions. Cleans well, is lightweight and does the job with ease and ability. Nothing at all.
Terrible – Copy of Email sent to Maytag, I really doubt if I'm ever going to get an answer :-( Hi people, My wife bought a Maytag Agility Deep Cleaner on the 9th Nov 2006 from Godfreys - Adelaide etc, and has used it about 6 times to clean the carpets in our house only. Today 12th Feb, it ran for about 10 minutes and then blew up and cannot be… Read more
plugged back into the power without tripping the house circuit breakers.
I have read on the internet where this appears to be a problem with the brush motor, and while I do have fusion insurance cover, and have contacted Godfrey's Repair Depot, I feel that you should be obliged to repair this unit under warranty.
The unit cost $800 AUD, and so far equates to about $130 per use, and that is not a good record by any means to gauge a product on.
Anyway, I await your response, but please do consider that this unit was last used about Oct 2008 prior to the warranty expiration, and it is unfortunate that it wasn't used more regularly prior to that because the motor would have no doubt blown up while it was still under warranty.
Yours,
David. I don't use it It's a $500 repair for an $800 machine that has been used six times.
Terrible – Quoted $ 450 for another motor !!! $ 800 machine......8 uses in 2 years, out of warranty by 3 months, should have paid someone to come in and do it for me. Godfreys really don't care that I only used it 8 times. The sales pitch they used was " Look how much money you'll save by not having someone in to clean it for you" It cleans well. It stopped working after 8 uses, took it back to Godfreys and the motor is had it !!!
Terrible – Was very pleased with clean but would never recommend anyone to buy one seeing as the motor is so dear to replace after such a short time. Much cheaper to hire one from the shop. Works very well when it is working. Cleans great. Had to take it back after 4 uses as it did not suck up the water. Turns out the hose was split. Was charged $90 to… Read more
replace as I had used hot tap water! I know it says use HOT WATER in the instructions. Now does not work at all as the motor has blown after just over 2 years.

and obiously there was alot still trapped on the carpet for the brushes to get caught on and also if it was leaving streaky marks you will probably find that where the dirty water comes out there is a filter it looks like a little window of mesh if this gets clogged and you dont scrape away the hair and dirt off it the machine wont suck up any water so it will leave dirty streaky marks give it a go by doing it properly im sure you find it a good machine . there are many
