When I put it on and the display is red, I vacate the room and wait for it to turn green as the air quality is not suitable and even dangerous to breathe. Within minutes or hours depending on the situation it will turn green signifying safe and clean air to breathe.

It’s whisper quiet and I can leave it on while sleeping with no disturbance.
