Pain in the neck – For the first couple of months it was fine, but then it seemed to get a virus or something and would constantly vibrate. After this eventually stopped the battery would last less than a day. There are many glitches i.e. it could not handle the Facebook or Gmail app. Apps would close randomly and sometimes the phone would turn off. Sometimes… Read more

I'd click on Messages and it would go to an app or other area and messages were hard to type. Very unpredictable, not at all practical. The layout is pretty good Poor battery life, many many glitches, unpredictable, slow, dodgy camera

Cute little phone.. maybe too little – The Aria is quite a small little phone, especially in comparison to its thickness. I found that it was great to use, battery life OK, and yes, the camera was quite poor. Google Play is a great alternative to the Apple App Store and has basically all the apps available on the iPhone, so I never felt left out when friends had cool new apps. Overall,… Read more

a bright, fun phone that I really enjoyed using until I accidently smashed the screen which meant I had to get a new one. I had no problems with any apps freezing. Texting was a breeze. Easy to use Poor camera

piece of junk – Battery wouldn't even last a full day, I even bought a new battery to try to make it last, but it just chewed through it. The camera is really, really average, you had to be a rock or it was blurry. it is really slow, I'd press a button, and it wouldn't do anything, so then i'd press it again and it would register both touches and do something I didn't want. Sms's were a nightmare to type. the alarm was easy everything else

Absolutely Horrible Phone – I own 2 of these phones, one for myself and one for my wife. They are both awful, constantly crashing, freezing during games, applications playing music. Camera is not very good, you have to stay completely still when you take a shot, even the slightest movement will cause the image to be blurry. I will never be buying HTC again. back to Apple I go. There is so much wrong with this phone i would not have enough room to list it all.

Kissing your ear!! – I'm really impressed with HTC. I ventured out of my comfort zone after 12 years with a loyal brand. There is nothing I can pick about the HTC. You have full control of your options and choices. Full coverage too. :) Shape, touch, downloading options

Great phone – after 2 years with a Samsung (touchscreen) phone I am thrilled with this HTC it has great features that are easy to use, and many more features i'm yet to discover. You have more control over the phones functions. You can sync with your computer. Great customer service when needing help with a function. Charges via usb or power cord (both… Read more

supplied). GPS navigation is provided. Voice commands (I have not really tested that yet)

Its great. reliable, loads of features you cant set your own tone for messages and alarms, but you can for ring-tones.

Inexpensive smartphone, not too big or small, good Android OS interface – Bought this phone over a year ago, wanted a HTC smartphone that wasn't too big or expensive, the Aria seems to fit this category. Overall clear screen, nice interface, works well with phone provider. Speaker isn't great and seems a little slow going through the menus/windows. Nice interface, solid phone, inexpensive. Abit slow navigating through menus/windows. Battery life isn't great. Speaker isn't loud enough.

Just a bad phone. I hate it! – As the overall quality of phones improves I seem to end up with worse phones... The HTC Aria goes okay in its basic function of making and receiving phone calls. Just a quick run down of the issues: - The camera is easily the worst I have ever encountered. I had phones 6 years ago that take better pictures. The camera takes blurry photos with… Read more

everything dark. 95% of the time you can barely make out what the picture is suppose to be of. If you want a decent camera phone don't get this.

- SMS can be a nightmare. The touch keyboard rarely registered the letter you want. This is offset by one of the few decent features - the word recognition that seems to have been added because HTC realise you have little chance of hitting the correct letters... I still have no idea how to find sent texts (in one area) but another decent feature is you can see the entire conversation of in and out texts.

- Answering/Receiving calls... The button is so sensitive and the contacts book so hard to use that I often find myself calling people I don't want to and desperately trying to cancel it.

- Apps. The preloaded ones are okay but not great. There are no games. You can get them off the net but Virgin Mobile don't make it easy. As I use an iPod for this sort of thing I haven't bothered.

Battery life is okay but not great. Looks okay, some good ideas with texting Overall performance is poor. The touch screen is annoying rather than helpful. The camera is truly dreadful.
