HTC EVO 3D (2011)

The most frustrating mobile phone I have ever owned! – My husband & I got our HTC Evo 3D mobile phones one day after each other, one from Telstra & the other from Optus & we have both had nothing but problems with this mobile phone, they turn off at any time, often doesn't charge even if it has been on the charger overnight. This phone freezes at least once every day & goes to random screens at anytime. We have spoken to other people who have this mobile & they too have had complaints. Large Screen, Easy to use. Freezes, turns off on its own, goes to random screens at anytime, doesn't always charge when on the charger.
Go else where – I would give this phone a 5 star rating, But I cant, Its got 2 because it operates well and is a fast reliable phone, But have anything one, do anything for longer than 5 minutes, you got 10% battery left! waste of my time this experience was! How can you let such a good phone down, Its obvious to ahead of its time The shape and the 3d effects Battery. Battery, Battery, Battery Battery, Batter. Even tried stronger powered ones, still drains so fast
Limited in abilities, novelty of 3D wears off – I went from an iPhone to this hoping for less malfunctioning soft wear and more apps. oh how wrong I was. The novelty of the 3D photos wears off rather quickly and when other people handle your phone, very often will the buttons at the bottom be nudged and activated. One soft wear issue after another. I can't wait to go back to an iPhone. The camera is good. The sound is quite good too, good speaker phone. sensitive button pad, vibrates when you get a notification/message while the phone is to your ear so you get buzzed in the ear, batter life SUCKS! I have to charge it at least twice a day, slow to go through different apps, freezes, doesn't automatically refresh apps like facebook even though it should, syncing is a night mare, the SMS come through all jumpbled up and not in order, after market SMS app can take upto 30 seconds to open!
HTC EVO 3D Review – After having previously owned a HTC it was time to update, the dual core of this model was what appealed to me, the 3d pics is a gimmick, but people are blown away by the pictures, also does 3d video, this is an awesome phone, does everything you want and more, usual smartphone negatives, download the Juice defender app to extend battery life, due to dual core and 3d, it is not a light phone. Dual core, very fast web browsing
