Huawei Ascend G526

Great phone for the money, hard to beat when on sale! – Offered via Vodafone. I unlocked it for free online at Voda. I bought mine for $89- a steal! Clear screen, good (loud) volume, very smooth to me- I never see lag. Con: the ringer sometimes turns off? I haven't found the right app to lock the volume (if there are apps, it must be an android thing). Wish it was 16GB internal storage... Worth every cent.
An ok Phone – The Huwawei G526 is an OK phone all up with all the features I need. Since the phone isn't an iPhone it obviously doesn't have all of the “better" features but this phone gives me enough. The phone has a bit of lag but overall, it is a GREAT phone.
Good Phone – Have been using this phone for 3 or 4 months and so far so good - quick start up, good sized 5" screen with good resolution, good battery life, camera is fine, easy to use and plenty of storage space for what I want. To date I haven't had any issues with it. Size and ease of use
worst phone ever – the huawei ascend g526 is awful i turned predictive text off it still kept on putting in apostrophes and kept changing my abbreviations, then when i plug the phone into computer to use the internet it says can't because sd storage is turned on i turned it off took sd card out you name it i tried it it still wouldn't work don't buy it its a waste of money absolutely nothing everything

This doesn't sound like the reviewer actually used the phone. It's a great value cheapie, 4G connectivity on a current model pitched at the pre-paid market. I use it as a spare phone / guest phone & it's been rock solid for newbie users who crash on my sofa from time to time.
