For the first 12 months, it worked great... then the troubles started – If I knew the problems I have had with the Y625, I would not have bought this smartphone. Its been giving me trouble in the sense that the battery wouldn't last, and then even when plugged into wall outlet, it would not turn on. Even bought several batteries for the Y625 and yet, its either the battery will go from 100% to zero, or the phone… Read more

will just not power on.

Am not tech savvy to be able to solve it, but the web does show how to solve the problem with the Y625.

If you are looking for a cheaper smartphone, I would go with another Huawei like the Huawei LUA-U03, which while is a smaller size, has its advantage in the sense that the battery works very well, and if you have a battery bank, it will power the LUA-U03 very quickly.

I do not work for Huawei or its stores, but am just gutted that I spent Aud$179 to get a dud.

Bought it new too.

Good quality, cheap phone – This phone is very cheap for what you get. While none of the features stand out, there aren't really any particular faults with the system itself. The primary draw with this phone is the price. I got these for $100, and so far they've been performing well(6 months old so far). So if you're looking for a decent new phone and don't care too much for… Read more

amazing features while still looking to keep up with modern tech at a great price, these are very suitable.

Grerat phone – Purchased from Post Office Kyogle 2474. Great phone with tremendous features. Far cheaper than many other phones on the market. Performance is excellent.Camera gives great resolution and image and is easy to use, the instruction booklet is very informative and easy to follow . Reception in areas that did not give good coverage with the iPhone 5 is far better . Delighted with this purchase.  Show details

Excellent value mid-range phone – When the G2 network was scheduled for disbandment, we both bought new phones. I chose the pocketable Huawei Y360, my wife chose the Huawei Y625, for its larger (5") screen and better camera (8mp over 5mp). At a price of around $150 from K-Mart, this Android phone is excellent value for money, and is of solid construction. It has a good clear,… Read more

bright screen and a tough case with a nice non-slip finish on the back. The battery is physically quite large and lasts well between charges. An online vendor was able to supply a wallet style case for very little money (certainly compared to the local phone shops). Like the Y360, this phone has 2 SIM sockets, both for the mid-sized SIM. It has a good ringer and reasonable volume. Sound quality is very clear. As with the Y360, only a small amount of memory is supplied, and the processor is not the fastest, so it would pay not to overload this phone with too many apps.

To sum up, this is a nice phone, the equal of "known" brands costing twice as much or more. It has an excellent camera and is good for voice and text use.
