Hunter Motor Group

There are salesman and there are salesman but there are very few salesman like Paul Galinski at Hunter City Motor Group in Cessnock. I became involved in a sticky situation and Paul helped me all the way to get the deal done. Paul is professional and extremely helpful. If you want to buy a car, then see Paul.
It cost $510 for them to simply do a diagnostic on my car. The service Manager Joshua Burton is rude and arrogant like most of the people involved in this dealership. They charge top dollar for everything. Other dealerships so much better and do not charge this ridiculous fee. Be warned!!!
Becarefull ❌️ – Red flag! Be carefuYou must do a third-party inspection if you still want to buy from this dealership. I purchased a Toyota Camry 2021 model and paid $31,500. Before buy i repeatedly asked if the car had been in any accidents, and the answer was no. I also have a declaration from them stating that the car had no accidents. I checked the PPSR, and… Read more
it was clear. I have also been driving the same car for a while, so inspect it with care. On the other hand, the dealership was also very professional in hiding paint marks, broken parts, and major faults. Just after a day, the car started making abnormal noises from the engine and suspension. I took it back to the dealership the same day and showed it to one of the officers. They checked it themselves and booked an appointment with their mechanics next door. I went there, and they referred me to Toyota, saying that my car was under warranty and they should fix it without any charges. Toyota experts found that the car had been in a major accident. The steering wheel was broken, the suspension was broken, there was engine noise, the radar and airbags were damaged, and I could not claim any warranty in the future if my car had been in an accident. I reported back to the dealership, and they admitted it and said they were not aware of it. They said it might have been a minor accident. As per consumer law, we are protected for 3 months or 5,000 kilometers for buying used cars from a dealership. The dealership's behavior is very strange. They keep ignoring and delaying the issue. It has been more than a month now. I involved Fair Trading and provided all the evidence, but the dealership keeps ignoring them as well. They also did not provide me with the original service history book. It looks like the car was an ex-rental car and they hide that from me. The car has never been serviced at a Toyota service center since it was purchased new, and Toyota has no record of it at all. I hope you understand my point. I will not do business with this dealership again.
BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP – BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! The worst dealership I have ever dealt with, we bought a second hand Hyundai i30 and was assured it would go through the workshop for a road worthy and a 100 point safety check, they said it passed but when the vehicle was delivered the front tyres were heavily scrubbed and were bald, which I have clear photos… Read more
of, there was no way this passed roadworthy, I spoke with the salesman, who handballed me to the service department who handballed me back to the sales department and nobody would take ownership, after getting nowhere I left it, rego was then due and have now been slapped with a stamp duty bill that they never paid when I bought the vehicle driveaway, BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!
My perfect little hyundia i30 – I recently (1 week ago) purchased a 2011 Hyundia i30 from Huntermotive at Granville where I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with the Manager Mark and the most helpful and honest Salesman Leon. I live at Harrington, near Taree on the mid north coast, a 4 hour drive to Granville and had to rely on my son in law who lives about 1/2 hour from… Read more
Granville and the honesty and experience of salesman Leon. Leon went thru all features of my car, leaving me feeling confident about my purchase and trusting his years of experience. My car had its pink slip inspection while I waited..was also fully mechanically inspected a few days beforehand. The mechanic even gave me a new oil filter and belt (I think it is a drive belt) which I thought was brilliant. I would highly recommend this Dealership and the knowledgeable salesman Leon. He's won my person of the year..century. Good job guys
The car of my dreams – My new car is just what I was dreaming about for years came true. The crew from Huntermotive sales went far and beyond to help me achieve my dream. I highly recommend Leon and manager Mark to be the team to go to when needing a car , SUV etc. Very happy with their kind approach and support was incredible . Thank you so much . Neil Z
Dodgy Dealer – Do not buy from this dealership, they sold me a car with a blow motor and it took 2 months and fair trading to obtain a refund for it. Still ended up losing $1500 with all the stuff around. Rude and inconsiderate staff.
New sales service – I would reccommend the hunter motor group Isuzu dealership in Rutherford. Our consultant Robert Lenton was a fantastic brand ambassador as we were looking to test drive a new Mux. Rob was happy to let us into a demo and gave us a full run down of the new vehicle even though we were unlikely to proceed with a sale at the branch. More than happy to… Read more
help us anyway and represent the Isuzu brand well. The same cannot be said for Tamworth Isuzu dealership Woodleys motors, I wouldnt go there in future.
Dont waste your time – If you want a service department to treat you with no customer service, damage your car and take no responsibility and not return calls or update you on your car then Hunter VW service department is the place for you. I even spoke to the service manager after calling again myself due to no response from my phone call and email to the service… Read more
department And he was supposedly going to look into it and get back to me but guess what still waiting for that call as well. Go else where!!!
I can NOT recommend this dealership – Purchased a used car as a surprise for my daughter from what I thought was a reputable dealership How wrong Was supposed to be drive away with 6 months rego, full tank and new wiper blades, also it was supposed to have a service and FULL mechanical check Didn’t change rego over till I pulled them up on it, only registered for 3 months, had to… Read more
wait 3 business days for the difference to be refunded, didn’t fill tank till I mentioned it and still no wiper blades Driving the car home the engine and Epc lights come on Apparently it has a coolant leak, that leaked into the wiring harness and Epc and fried it, but they didn’t know that when they done their FULL mechanical check Seriously don’t buy anything from this dealership and I wouldn’t recommend getting a service there either After the general manager refusing to repair the car, I accepted a refund but had to involve the department of fair trading to actually achieve it
