Hurom HU-300 MKII

Broken without Parts Warranty after 60 days – The juicer was value priced and seemed like a good deal. Within the first 10 days, it became apparent that the technical engineering quality of the juicer was shockingly poor (the top started to wobble, some carrot ends were "just too hard" to crush easily, etc.). Then after almost exactly 60 days of use (two juices in the morning per day), the… Read more
heavy duty(?) Auger (crusher screw) end broke off. When contacting the seller, the parts were listed as "wear and tear" so there is no warranty except on the motor/base (and I would like to see that replacement happen). This Hurom brand must be coping other machines without understanding the technical requirements and not backing up the brand with warranty. It is like a a juicer manufacturer with P-plates. They have not yet learned how to do it well. I would recommend staying away from the Hurom brand altogether.
Very disappointed it cannot handle fibrous foods – I bought my Hurom HU-500 in 2013 and have used it constantly over that time, but find I must limit my juicing to non-fibrous foods. My husband loves pineapple juice. I have tried everything to try to coax the machine to manage this - cut is very small pieces, chill the fruit before juicing, feed the pieces in very slowly - but nothing I do prevents… Read more
the pulp output clogging with fibre early in the process Seems the pulp output shoot is too small to handle this type of food. I don't know if later models have improved this but I am thinking I need to explore other brands.
Good buy – Easy to use.Healthy juices can be made.Setting up and cleaning is simple.Worth the investment.Green juice reduces cravings .Ideal for weight loss.
Using over 3 years – Bought this for $400 2011. Friends were joking at me to spend that much on a juicer. But I am still juicing where they have replaced theirs and one have even jumped to this ship. At the end i laughed at them. My ultem strainer broke and when sent an email to Hurom did sent a replacement without questions. Worth the investment and might not look… Read more

Though the latest models seems interesting, but not have enough dough in my wallet. would definitely recommend to anyone.
OK but overpriced – Did a lot of research before buying the Hurom. I came from the Breville juicer which was fast and easy. The Hurom is quite a bit slower and the fruit needs to be cut up a lot smaller. Celery doesnt juice well with the fibruous strands clogging up the machine. Coming from the Breville where i juiced every day, i've now reverted to bottled juice as… Read more
its a bit too much hassle. I bought it with the promise that the pulp would come out dry - it doesnt. Shouldnt have bought it. I lke the idea of the slow juicer - but that's the problem - it's slow Too fussy, too slow, doesnt juice everything like the old Breville juice fountain
the best – this machine makes quality juice its easy to use, it has a no mess opperation, and its easy to clean - i just rinse it under warm water this is seriously the best juicer if your a clean freak however there are a lot of nooks you cant get a sponge into everything can be hard to get spotlessly clean if your a massive clean freak
Doesn't live up to the hype – Have had my juicer for a few months and initially I was thrilled with it, but despite the 800ml capacity, after juicing fibrous vegetables (eg kale) and cutting them up finely, the auger and pulp chute still get clogged up and I end up wasting fruit like apples because they just end up going around and around in the grinder and won't go through. … Read more
I'd say you get about 500mls of juice no problems if mixing your fruits and vegetables, but after that, it pays to clean it out and start again. I have definitely tried chopping things more finely, but I have yet to try shredding yet before juicing - perhaps that might work better!
My previous juicer was a centrifugal juicer and what I loved about that was you could take whole fruits and vegetables and just throw them in, so the process was very fast. The other downside to the Hurom is the time it takes to chop everything, top, tail and de-seed.
Disappointed! Pulp is dry, it's really efficient and gets all the juice out (at first) Can't cope with mixed vegetables to make more than 500mls of juice, especially fibrous ones, even chopped finely. Time it takes to chop everything.
The Ultimate Juicer – This juicer is simply fantastic. The quality and performance is very impressive. It's also good value for money. I have had shredding and grinding juicers in past, but never again. The gentle press mechanism is incredible - you really do use less fruit, and the juice extracted from the fruit is pure juice - no pulp. The pulp is dry, an indication… Read more · 1
of maximum extraction - just great. You do notice a distinct intense flavour of the juice in sharp contrast to the 'juice' produced by shredding and grinding juicers. It's easy to assemble and clean within no time. And it is so quiet! I luv it and would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about the quality, nutrition extraction and flavour of fresh fruit juice. Everything.
