just finished 400 hours on this husky (2 cylinder- ts142t)- never missed a beat - started EVERY time _ i am now 86 with a 1/2 acre block - I cannot walk now and use it every day for getting around the yard = mainly pulling trolleys and controlling running bamboo - Ran it 10 hours and did i'ts service myself (seller had gone broke) -used multi synthetic oil from start - lost a cutter belt at 397 hours only because I ran over a plastic tarp that shredded and overloaded the belt- yet to replace belt (I'm OLD) -Thought about how much I rely on it and bought a TS218T from Dural Chains and Mowers - Just finished 12 hours on it and Chains will pick it up for service -the218 is very powerful but the 142t is my pick - Also run 2 Yardman tractors but they are 20 and 25 years old - neither have been in for service - all done by me - but sadly I am too old now but reckon Brett at Chains will do me right

Purchased for $5,500.

Hi Tropic Staffies, thank you for posting and sorry to hear you not happy with your mower. Our mowers generally have a five year warranty. Has your local dealer been made aware of your mower's issues and have they been rectified?

OVER A YEAR WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE – i'M 84 AND HAVE 3 RIDE ONs one Yardman over 25 YO and the other over 20 years old - Done all repairs myself Husqvarna bought from Allmower spares has over 100 hours in last year - Mostly used for moving ms and trailers - Also mowed 1/2 acre block in Sydney for last year No troubles with Husqvarna except for a chirping that Youtube say is belt bearing or spring or couple of other things - Bought all parts the discovered if brake is locked on over night chirping is gone - Excellent turning circle and having 2 pedals is really superior to having lever for forward or reverse - Chassis can crack under abuse but Husky has 2 part3 selling on Amazon for $100 - (Bought it just in case) -Never broken a mandrel in 25 years on any 3 mowers since demolishing old house using mower deck at lowest to level land and seeding lawn on rough land using woolies seed

Purchased in at All Mower Spares for $5,145.

2 and a half years now - Still on original blades although I have 2 spare sets on hand for when I need them - Chewed up many parts of tree branches in that time but blades still mow as new - Killed the safety switch under seat as it was driving me mad - Still safe as I have fitter mulcher fitting so no blades are exposed - Done just over 400 hours - Use only fully synthetic oil since new - HOWEVER do not put synthetic in an old machine - I put it in our 5 liter v8 2001 Ford fairlane and immediately got a rear bearing leak - Not happy Jan
