Engine destroyed itself at 130 hours – Machine ok til 130 hours then the engine failed. Disintegration of spark plug (rated for 200 hours) which destroyed the engine’s cylinder. Followed the manual for maintenance. Four weeks later, waiting for Husqvarna to respond, not a peep. Two years left on the warranty. I have seen bad customer service but but this is next level. Dangerous. Blades won't stop and not value for money – I've had 3 sets of repairs. It was defective on purchase. Lights didn't work and ignition was loose Leaves Mohawk on the lawn as the 3 blades don't overlap. I now have to mow twice instead of once. The blades often won't engage, but then won't disengage, this is a major safety issue. Bought a mulching kit but it just clogs up, mulching blades… Read more
weren't included. Front roller broken twice in 40 hours, 12 of which was accidentally leaving .the ignition on overnight
Three repairs on the same item and still going – Bought the mower in May 2020 from a nearby dealer. Was very impressed with the grass throw and the ride on flat ground. After first two hours, both dials displayed heavy condensation and the deck had a intermittent shudder. Requested the dealer to fix the problem - took 2 weeks and given back. After 1.1 hours with new belt and display, heavy… Read more
condensation occurred again. I took photos and texted through to dealer. Dealer took two weeks and replaced both dials. Once again, after 1.2 hours heavy condensation occurred in the display. I requested a full refund and was denied by the dealer citing that it was not a major refund. I have been back and forth with the dealer and have finally sent it through to Fair Trading to rule on. Surely fixing the same item three times is grounds for an item being faulty! I emailed the dealer explaining the direction going and outlined that even if I sold it, I would have to disclose the repeated repairs and that this would affect the buyer's perception on the item and resultantly the sale price. Still no refund. Worst experience ever!
Honestly sooo good, plenty of grunt etc perfect – It’s got such a tight turning circle, reserve fuel tank, locked diff, bulk torque for steep hills. Mechanically so easy to extract deck to sharpen blades etc. I’ve got a Stihl chainsaw as it’s better than Husky, but for ride mower TS348 is unbeatable in everyway Show details
The best mower ive ever had – This mower will chew through the long grass in a paddock, but it also gives you an amazing finish on your precious lawn around the house. Mighty power and great finish, solid and reliable, had it 2.5 years now and not a days trouble with it Show details
Worst lawn mower – This mower was only good for the first year. The second year the Kohler engine had multiple issues. I had the mower serviced at the dealership that I purchased it at and had more problems then before. Do not purchase a Husqvarna mower with a Kohler engine. Show details
Great choice and upgrade from the chain store options – After going through 3 chain store versions of riders, John Deere 110, cub cadet and Craftsman t3200 in 12 years and after seeing the new versions that are on the market I decided to spend an additional $800-$1000 and upgrade to this Beast. And she is a very good choice for 2 - 3 acre flat land with lots of grass.. After using one time I feel… Read more
really good about this purchase. Don’t waste your $ on chain store junk. Go find a dealer that you like and purchase. !
It’s a bit slower than some models but it cuts so efficiently and looks sharp when you are done.
Love the deck for cleaning . Grass doesn’t get stuck under belt when it’s tall. Plenty of power.
Maintenance properly and I’m betting many years of good riding ahead. Will get back later after some time ..
Oh and this one had the tall commercial seat very comfortable having trouble getting my wife off of it.
Was a great mower until the problems started! – We had this mower for about 8 months before receiving a letter saying it was recalled due to the fuel line being located to close to the blade and causing issues. Prior to this is was great until we started getting more use after clearing the front of our yard up and being able to mow there the blade being so low was catching on roots given our… Read more
land isn’t flat. Would say go for it if you have a flat block. Would avoid if there’s ditches or roots or uneven surface. Be careful and do your research.
early days – First 10 hours done and I could not be happier. Sure there are a couple of nuts that need tightening which the first service will sort out- but the cut quality-speed-traction and power are all exemplary- used to have a JD but can't see me going back. Very comfortable, feels higher than the JD 110 but isn't. the only thing I would change is the fuel tank indicator- but thankfully the reserve proved more than enough to get me out of trouble. TS348 - large repairs after 27.8 hours! – After only 27.8 hours of use in a house yard, all three spindles needed replacing. The centre blade had the bolt snap, it did not hit anything. After 27.8 hours of use, we needed 3 new blades and three new spindles and a new blade bolt. Mowers owned by us before this had done 100's of hours, on the same yard. Never did we replace a spindle, let alone three. Show details
Can't complain – Bought this about several months ago, used it over grass on gravelly ground. It did the job. As the block has shrub and scrub growing out again, i just went over it and it looked neat. So far so good. I wished it moved faster when not cutting so can get around quicker but its not a complain.
