We recently bought a Chery Tiggo 4. We chose the base model because the next model up had leather seats, a sunroof and an auto closing tailgate. We don't like leather seats and a sunroof is impractical in Cenral Qld! One day we were talking about the auto closing tailgate and how it would be useful, so I searched online. H.W. is based in Victoria and has videos of their products on their website. We decided to go with the Chery Tiggo Kit at a price of $1,050 shipping included. I must confess to some nerves about the purchase, but I can report that it is working beautifully!! This was fitted here in Rockhampton by the team at E.T. Auto Electricians, who I will review seperately! The Tailgate operates with the Tiggo Key, a button just inside the tailgate (for closing)! and by a gentle press of the outside button. There is a button near the dash which opens it when the motor is turned off. I would highly recommend this Kit for anyone buying the base model Chery who would like the auto close feature. Kits are also made for other makes and models!
