Relatively happy with the purchase. Have a rectangle-shaped pool with seating up one end in each corner. It climbs the walls and makes its way onto the seats. The only issue is fine dust & sand. The 150micron basket is very average for this price point and struggles to pick this up. Ideally, it should manage particles less than 100 microns with ease. Overall, I still need to use the pool broom to suck up the finer debris. Hy-Chlor offers upgraded fine filter pads (50 microns) at an additional cost. The catch is that they only work effectively when the machine is running in ground-only mode.

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $900.

Doesn’t work. Changed from a corded cleaner to this heap of crap. Don’t waste your money. If you want your pool cleaned this is thing won’t do it. See pics of pool after 2 x 3 hour cleans. Useless rubbish!

INEFFECTIVE PIECE OF PLASTIC – Have had this cleaner for several months and it doesn't live up to the advertised hype of the manufacturer. Firstly it is not a real robotic cleaner. It fails to clean and climb steps (as advertised )and I have to brush them to ensure that they are cleaned. Secondly I have a Roman shaped pool and the i6 is random in its cleaning of the curved ends of my pool often leaving dust on the walls.

Thirdly, its construction is not terribly robust with parts made from flimsy plastic. The plastic clip on my debris basket snapped off after 6 weeks usage.

Quite frankly I get a far superior clean using a manual vacuum cleaner.

I must say that the Hy-clor telephone helpline person ([Name Removed]) tried to assist with several of my earlier difficulties but the frustration of having an item that clearly fails to meet its advertised qualities has now boiled over for me.

It is my intention to lodge a formal complaint with the Consumer Affairs Department with my concerns.

Do not waste your money on this ineffective cleaner.
