When it works, it does what it’s advertised to do. But!!!!! It failed after 4 weeks. It’s a short term perception of having a clean pool with minimal effort. These robotic cleaners are not long term solutions to pool maintenance.

I've had this for a few weeks and so far so good except........the basket is poorly designed for cleaning. It needs to be able to be opened from the bottom as well as the top so that it can be easily hosed out. It is painful to have to clean it out the way it is. I think it would be an easy design change and make it far more user friendly.

So Far So Good – This cleaner has no useless gimmicks - no App, no mobile phone required, no Cloud connection, no remote control, no "take out of pool assistance", no programmes, no timer, no internet required for instructions. The written, illustrated and easy to follow manual is in the box. It does have a swivel. Have had it for four weeks. $999.00 at Bunnings. It cleans the floor, the walls and the water-line. It goes up the wall vertically, and sometimes goes along the wall as well. The pool is 11mx5m and generally it covers the entire floor in the two hours. It has missed a corner a few times, but no big deal. Normal filter is 180 microns. It comes with a second, 50 micron filter, which just slips inside the basket. Have not tried that yet. It picks up leaves and big and small debris. It actually vacumns up from directly beneath the machine, and from each side. Have never seen that before. It is useful to read the manual as it explains where the cord should go, switch for starting up, how to open the lid, and how/when the water-line scrubber works. Read it first or you will think it is not working properly. The basket is finicky to empty. I find it best to give an initial clean then hose whatever is left to one side of the basket, and then get those bits out as best as one can. In my view this cleaner compares favourably with a $3,000.00 cleaner. Longevity is of course an unknown.
