This company is the absolute worst to deal with . They don't reply to emails. Phone message nothing when it comes to trying to claim a warranty issue . They have no deals with any company to fix anything in this country . They try their best to muck you around and hopefully you will give up . Total scam of a company they clearly do not want anything to do with making a warranty claim. Do your self a favour by from your local business that at least you can visit. This is a online scam company.

Gather around to find out about a company that doesn't test their products before releasing. My first clue of quality control came when the plastic nave plate for one wheel was already loose in the box. Putting it back was easy enough, although it was slightly warped. Most likely an assembly level issue. There are a couple of design issues with this mower contributing to one problem which is a huge nuisance if you have a large yard to mow (which is exactly what this type of mower is for).

- The size of the rear discharge opening is too small - Twin blade design (instead of 4)

The 170cc engine not only must spin the blades, but it must also propel the mower forward. What happens is that the engine frequently chokes out at max power regardless of gear position. This I believe is because it is not able to efficiently push back the cut grass into the bag; the rear discharge port is a bottleneck and a lot of the grass is accumulating there. I believe the main problem is with the size of the rear discharge port and the twin-blade design. A Masport I had previously rarely ever choked out with a 150cc engine (not self-propelled). It had a larger rear discharge port along with a 4 blade design. Interestingly, the mower has no problem self-propelling uphill on a fairly steep incline which leads me to believe that the engine power is not the problem.

The solution I believe is a bigger discharge port and potentially a 4-blade design. There is no point having a 70L bag when 3/4 of the grass doesn't go inside it.

The other points to note about this mower is that it is very PLASTICK-Y. Plastic parts by themselves aren't a problem, there are plenty of high quality and durable plastics, but this Hundai does not use them. It is low quality and I suspect it will start to break apart very quickly due to UV degradation, especially here in Australia.

When I bought it, it was about $895 with some special coupon - but I can see that it's now jumped up to $1045. The audacity for this price hike for a product that's come straight from the sewer is interesting.

Add to this noxious mix is the incompetent and unresponsive sales team. I emailed them multiple times to get a tax invoice for what I purchased (you know like a company SHOULD be doing) and I am yet to receive a response.

My suggestion is to avoid all Hyundai lawn mowers, this is clearly on of their more top-of-the-line models and it has serious issues.
