A car that was overlooked by many ,What a shame – I have a 2006 Grandeur sold my Lexus GS430 for $45,000 5 years back Bought a low millage Grandeur for around $20,000 although the Lexus was a fine car the Hyundai stacks up well against the Lexus and excelles in many areas EG Ride comfort is more like my first Lexus LS400 which was the better of the two Lexus -Grandeur has moor Room Fold down… Read more
rear seats and similar performance from the V6 against the Lexus V8 Both cars return similar city mileage around 18L per 100k I am a lead foot so I guess that it would be halved on country driving.
I have invested the $15,000 in bank shares as I have retired and do not regret the downgrade.
My only problem in 5 years was the electric rear window blind motor unit failed.
I will keep this car and Maybe buy a Genesis SUV in 2019 if it suits me.
Hyundai Grandeur – Owned my 2006 model for 7 years. What a great value for money vehicle. If you can find a low ks model buy it. The only problem in 7 years was with the rear window electric blind. Performance fantastic a very very quick machine. Show details
Grand Granduer – What a beautiful car in all aspects. Fit and finish is second to none. I love the leather seats, very comfortable, the inclusion of heated seats is magic. The boot is huge, with added bonus of the rear seats completely folding down all the way It is so powerful, just touch the accelerator and you are gone. There are times when I am sitting at… Read more
traffic lights that I have to check the instruments to see if the car is running, it is so quiet. It is a lovely design and married with the transmission it is a car made for eating up long distances. Add cruise control and you are seriously chewing up the miles. All controls are located on the steering wheel which is very handy. The 6 stacker CD player is a dream and pumps out the sound. Rain sensing wipers and auto headlights are a dream.
There is a huge amount of space in the back of the car for rear passengers.
The wood grain finish is understated as compared to other cars of this price.
It is fitted with more features than other cars of a much higher price range.
The inclusion of 8 Airbags and huge brakes with ESP make this a a truly safe car to drive.
Highly recommend for any car buyer. Everything, reverse sensors. Self leveling headlights. Supreme comfort.

Excellent – Great family car, large v6 engine producing 200kw, heaps of room inside, an abundance of safety features, and the best part is the cost compared to an equivalent European or Australian produced car 1000's of dollars less. Great value for money, no hidden extras, on the Grandeur all luxury items are standard equipment The only criticism is the limited colours available
Excellent – We love our Grandeur, have had it since brand new. Has everything in it that opens and shut. Have not had one problem and it is 4 years old. Would recommend this car and would be happy to buy another or any other Hyundai car. Has everything in this car absolute luxury Only fault is the head lights on low beam they are not very bright
Excellent – My wife and I love the car. It's very relacking to drive and can't be beaten. Only one problem in 50000 a computor fault with gearbox. I get 9.8/100km on a run, a bit heavier round town. Power, comfort, space, has got ever thing a Mercedes has got except the price, great value folding mirrors sunscreen boot space The high beam needed adjusting now… Read more
is fine, hesitation suspension wants better shock absorbers resale is a problem but I will keep it for some time because I cant find any thing to replace it with.
Good – Dollar for dollar is a great family car. Not a warranty one claim in 26k in first year, more bells and whistles for less bucks and good quality finish. 8.1/100 highway, 12/100 city not bad for 3.8 donk. Power, comfort, space safety and value for your dollar Poor high beam, hesitation with kick down acceleration
