Honda Accord
8th Gen, 7th Gen, (No Series), 9th Gen (See All)Reviewer Photos & Videos
Mine is a V6 full spec model. I should say that the interior quality is top notch. All surface of the doors are soft. The center arm rest is very soft too. The VCM saves some fuel and the gas mileage is good for an engine of this size.
However, the front passenger seat is not the best. Feels like sitting in a pit. Wish it had height adjustability.
The feel is good and it handles really well. Responsive and good feed back from steering.

Used for Family Transport, daily or as required, and this car has been serviced on a time basis rather than kilometres travelled, it is a 2005 model with only 76000 kilometres clocked on speedo.

Family car . Drive it every day ,serviced regularly by Honda Dealership as per Log Book. The car was a dud from moment of purchase. Very stiff steering and sluggish performance . Accelerator action was delayed. After three years, sun roof began to rust and had to be replaced . The inbuilt SatNav Navigator stopped working after 4 years ( was quoted $5,000 to fix) . The Odometer stopped working after 11 years ( 190,000kms) $1,042 to fix . It consumes oil at one litre per month. A peice of metal trim bordering windscreen flew off and had to be replaced ( faulty glue) cost $220.
HONDA have lost the art of making a fine car. Interior design was comfortable and adequate. The stereo sound system is good.

The Honda Civic has consistently edged out the Toyota Corolla in major awards as best light compact available. That goes for both here and the USA. Servicing is pretty frugal and readily available, with expert providers both in and out of the actual agencies.
The Civic is an easy car to fall in love with. Mine must have been owned by a lady who didn't know it had a back seat. She'd certainly never been told about the boot, let alone the treasures to be found in the compartment beneath the boot's lower lid.
Amazingly ahead of its twelve years, ...

I have a 2008 Honda Accord V6, I bought it in 2011 from Yarra Honda with 34,000 kms, 9 years later it has 119,000 and its still a joy to drive. The rear seat space is ridiculously spacious, particularly leg room and the boot is massive. The console and controls are absolutely fantastic to look at and use. Performance is fantastic. Only issue was a leaky power steering pump at about 80,000 kms ($380 for a rebuild at a Honda dealer) and an alternator failure at 110,000 kms (about $700 by independent mechanic). Apart from those two items a joy to drive. Just make sure to put the RIGHT oil in the engine and gearbox and this is such a magnificent and rewarding car.

Best Accord you can buy in Australia, with descent power (V6 206kw, 0-100 6.5 sec) and pretty good engine sound, modern technology (adaptive cruise control, radar).
Quite impressive fuel economy on highways between 7.8 to 8.5l per 100km (98octane), city never was higher than 10.
Bought it second hand with 145k km on a clock (full service history) now 180k km, not a single issue, just regular maintenance. You can do 100% all services yourself if you keen, car very easy to work on.

My euro included as standard every option available at the time. It has been the most reliable car I have owned and the most comfortable. A return trip Melbourne to Perth across the Nullarbor was an armchair drive all the way. If the current models are even half as good they would be worth buying! The only maintenance in over 110,000 has been the normal wear and tear things (tyres, brakes etc). A really great example of a luxury touring car at an affordable price.
